TITAN HEADQUARTERS, THE NEXT DAY
Chloe is pacing back and forth in the waiting area of the executive floor at Titan. She was up all night trying to figure out what to do. After overhearing Victor and Kate say they brainwashed Philip and that Wesley is alive somewhere, she resisted her first reaction, which was to strangle them both. She knew that if they realized she overheard them, she might ruin her chance of ever seeing her son again. So she formulated a plan. She called Nicole, her favorite schemer, and together they refined some ideas. Now she just needed Philip to buy into it. At last, the door to his office opened. She walked past Philip and into his office without waiting for an invitation. Philip closed the door.
Philip: What’s going on? Your message sounded urgent.
Chloe: I need your help.
Philip: Of course. What do you need?
Chloe: Remember I told you my baby died in a fire?
Philip: Of course I remember.
Chloe: I just found out that he didn’t die. He’s alive.
Philip’s eyes widen.
Philip: Chloe, that’s wonderful. I’m so happy for you.
He hugs her. Chloe closes her eyes and melts into his arms. He pulls away.
Philip: So tell me. Where is he? And what do you need my help for?
Chloe: I need your help finding him. I don’t know where he is.
Philip: My help? You mean you need money?
Chloe: No, I need you.
Philip: Me? Why me? What about Daniel?
Chloe: Um. Daniel and I are ... sort of separated.
Philip: I’m sorry to hear that. But still, he’s Wesley’s father.
Chloe: He ... um ... Daniel has patients who need him.
Philip: More than you do?
Chloe: Yes. He can save their lives. He can’t leave Salem.
Philip: Leave Salem? Where do you think your son is?
Chloe: I don’t have any idea.
Philip: Okay, now you’re sounding a little crazy.
Chloe: I’m not crazy! He’s alive and he’s being raised by other people. I don’t know who, and I don’t know where, but I have to find him.
Philip: Okay, okay, Chloe, calm down. Let’s back up. What makes you think he’s alive in the first place?
Chloe: I can’t tell you.
Philip [impatiently]: Come on Chloe! You’re not making any sense. If you want my help, you have to tell me.
Chloe: I’m afraid you won’t believe me.
Philip: Can we stop playing games?
Chloe: Okay, but you have to promise me you’ll keep an open mind.
Philip: Tell me already!
Chloe: Your parents. Victor and Kate. They know where Wesley is.
Philip: What???

Great start kpatch! Looking forward to Chloe and Philip finding Wesley and also finding their way back to each other. I really hope Kate and Victor pay for what they've done!!!

Wow. This was so worth waiting for. I can just see the look on Philip's face when Chloe says that Victor and Kate knows where the baby is. Can't wait for the next chapter. Thanks Kpatch.

Sweet! I am dying inside for Philip to know the truth. He is gonna be sooo mad with Kate and I can't wait for her to get what is coming for her. Letting a mother think her child was dead after Curtis did that to her! Sheesh. Have some

Chloe: I overheard your parents talking.
Philip: My parents? That’s unbelievable.
Chloe: Really Philip? I know you have gaps in your memory, but if I said the word “brownies,” would that ring a bell?
Philip: Oh. ... I remember that my mother tried to poison you. But why would they take your son away from you?
Chloe: They think I’m an unfit mother.
Philip: Hmmm. And with Daniel being my father’s godson, it probably makes Dad think he has some rights to the baby.
Chloe: So you believe me?
Philip: Yes. Yes, I do.
Chloe: What are we going to do? I mean, you’re not going to say anything to Kate or Victor, are you?
Philip: No, of course not. I know them well enough to know that they would never admit to anything like this. I think I know another way to get the information.
Chloe: Then you’ll help me? I mean you were on some covert missions for the Marines. Those skills might come in handy.
Philip: I’m sure they would, but ...
Chloe: But what?
Philip: I want to help you ... I really do. But I have to talk to my wife.
Chloe: Your wife? I don’t understand.
Philip: This is big. I can’t leave Salem without discussing it with Melanie first. Maybe we should bring her along. She’s a nurse and ...
Chloe: Fine, bring her, I don’t care. I just want to find our son.
Philip: Okay, let me speak to Melanie. I’ll call you tonight.
Chloe: Thank you.
She turns to leave and Philip grasps her hand.
Philip: Chloe, I’m really happy that your son is alive. Don’t worry. We’ll find him.
