I am excited for what is to come, but sad it is coming to an end. Does that make any sense??

^^ Yes, it makes sense. It's been a long journey from All My Exes to First Love, Last Love to Another World to Search for Tomorrow. I don't want it to end either.

WEST END APARTMENT

Philip continues to access information on his iPhone when it goes dead.
Philip: Damn! Battery needs charging.
He plugs the phone into the charger, then calls to Chloe.
Philip: Hey Chloe, I’m going to borrow your iPad.

Philip picks up Chloe’s iPad which is in “sleep” mode and notices that it is automatically displaying photos. The first picture is a photo of Wesley in his playpen. The photo makes Philip smile. The next picture is Chloe holding Wesley looking into the camera. The next picture is one of Philip holding Wesley, the one Chloe showed him a few weeks ago. After that photo is a picture of Chloe, Philip and Wesley together, and another one, and another one after that. Philip’s brow knits as he touches the screen to stop the automatic rotation of the photos. The iPad's "wallpaper" is a photo of him and Chloe. Philip feels himself getting uncomfortable as he notices a file that says “Philip’s last email.” He hesitantly clicks on the document and it opens. He reads it.

Damn. We’re still circling. I wish this plane would land already. Feels like an eternity and I’m getting increasingly antsy. I can’t wait to be home with you and Wesley. With my family. Did I ever tell you that some of the staff at Titan call you my instant family? How crazy is that? Instant? Not hardly. It took a lot of work to get us back together and a little divine intervention. When I think about all the roads we took, the detours, the breakdowns, the breakups, all the years since we first fell in love ... to finally be together, to finally be married ... you know what? It was worth it. I love you and I can’t even put into words the depth of my feelings for you and Wesley. Chloe, you’ve taken my breath away ever since I saw you in that red dress at the Last Blast dance. I don’t say it often enough, do I? Whether we’re together or apart, all I have to do is think of you and I feel like a tidal wave is washing over me. I’m so happy I sometimes feel like I could explode. Am I rambling? Sorry. I’m just killing time until the plane lands. Until I’m holding you in my arms again. I can’t wait. It won’t be long.

Philip takes a deep breath and tries to comprehend all the information he just learned. Chloe steps out of the bathroom dressed in a robe with her hair in a towel. He looks at her.
Chloe: Philip, what’s the matter?

So, you were just saying that you didn’t want the story to end and the good news is that the saga continues for one more part. When I started writing First Love, Last Love, I came up with the idea for a trilogy that essentially had three distinct parts. My working title was actually called “The Burn Trilogy” because of the fire that occurs in Part 1. I had Burn Trilogy Part 1 (First Love, Last Love), Burn Trilogy Part 2 (Another World), Burn Trilogy Part 3 (Search for Tomorrow) and then there was Burn Trilogy Part 4 (Passions). I made myself laugh with Part 4 because a trilogy by definition is only 3 parts. But I digress.

Search for Tomorrow was originally supposed to be about Philip and Chloe searching for and finding Wesley, but it ended up being Philip finding himself. I was going to just leave the cliffhanger without letting you know that Passions starts tomorrow, but I was afraid of a frownie face attack. (Glad you like the fact I chose defunct soap names for story titles!)

For the sake of readers, I try to break stories up into digestible pieces instead of one 100 chapter story (and if you threw in All My Exes, this would ending up being close to that many chapters!).

So thanks for sticking with this story. I’ve got the summer lineup planned, and then some. I’ve got three stories completed and three more in the works, as follows:

• Passions
  
• The Homecoming Sequel (where Jack returns)
  
• Rear Window (currently writing this story which stars a fan favorite!)
  
• Being Chloe
  
• Vienna Schmaltz (that’s just the working title, but it’s a story that covers what happened to Chloe and Brady in Vienna)
  
• The Weary Kind
  

And that may just take us all the way through to the end of the year. I always worry that I will run out of ideas, but the show certainly provides inspiration one way or the other.
