I've read in several places that Camilla/Gabi and Blake/Nick are leaving the show too...I don't know how I missed it, but good grief, it's a mass exodus....!!!

It was posted here a couple months ago that Camilla was leaving. Maybe they are writing Nick out with her.
The younger actors almost always seem to leave after their contract ends. They want to go spread their wings and try to get into movies or prime time. It usually seems to have little to nothing to do with the show.

Blake (Nick) left before...he is past the wing spreading stage I would think...I have always thought his character had limited viability...at least on a show like Days which is fairly traditional. He has killed two people and is homophobic...Days doesn't know how to handle complex darkness like that. I always figured he would have a shorter run. But is his departure confirmed?
Cameron - if he is leaving - he must have had a really short contract. I can see it more like the character isn't working so they chucked him.
Camilla did OLTL before Days...so she has been doing soaps awhile - maybe she does want to branch out.
If only they would chuck Abigail...I liked her character so much more when Ashley Benson played her.

Hopefully they don't try to recast Cameron again. The character hasn't ever been interesting. Not sure his disappearance will even be noticed.

With Gabi leaving today, they really devoted an entire episode to her, or close to it. Made me wonder what they'll do for Sami and EJ's sendoffs. A whole month?

If Gabi, Nick, Sami and EJ are all leaving and since Eve is returning and apparently so is Melanie I wonder who else could be returning to fill the void left by Gabi, Nick, Sami and EJ?
