I loved this episode. The casserole tied into so many story lines, in such a simplistic way. With Chloe, Jennifer, and (naturally) Maggie.
I loved that she made a casserole for Victor, and Victor attempting to end things on his own. I love how Maggie wouldn't let him off the hook, and the way she said "when you're ready to have some fun, call me".
Man, playful fun and romantic. This is what has been missing with Days, LOL

I enjoyed these scenes too. It was old school soap opera. Ladies having tea in the kitchen and talking about their lives.

I meant to comment earlier in here... This scene was great. It was almost like real life as even Chloe was ok with Jennifer. I wish there were more "friend" scenes like this...

Finally watched Friday's episode.
It was funny how Maggie made the casserole almost on spite. Victor wanted to share it with her and she told him she hates it. LOL.
Best line goes to Victor when he said (a la Lloyd Benson) I knew Mickey, and I'm no Mickey Horton. But Maggie wouldn't let him get away with that because she's not comparing Victor to Mickey, even if Victor is.
In the end, the whole interaction went round in circles and ended up nowhere. It didn't further the relationship or the storyline, but any time we get to see Victor and Maggie together in a scene, it's one in the "win" column for us viewers.

It was cute, but it accomplished nothing. I understand this isn't going to happen overnight but I am ready to see them together.

I'm not really sure that it accomplished nothing.I feel that it at least accomplished a bit of comedy, and it allowed a moment for Vic to let his guard down a bit and admit he's "No Mickey Horton".At least Maggie can now understand that he's comparing himself to Mickey.Maybe wanting to be a little bit more like Mickey as maybe he thinks Mickey was more deserving of Maggie than he is himself.Does that make sense?
As for the Chloe Jennifer thing,I wasn't too fond of it.Chloe acting like she didn't call Jenn a b**** just a few days before and Jenn acting perfectly fine toward Chloe just didn't ring true to me.

But everyone kind of puts on their best behavior in front of Maggie. Can you imagine the tongue lashing they would have gotten if they would have been catty with each other?

You do have a point, lol.I'm just not sure they had to be catty.Maybe more...distant,uncomfortable,reserved?The smile Chloe gave Jennifer after calling her that word just days before just seemed out of place to me.I dunno, maybe it's just me.

I don't think Jennifer would have been catty. Chloe was clearly uncomfortable, and Jennifer was taken off guard, but both were civil. Besides, Chloe is different sober rather than drinking (like she was when she called Jennifer a biznatch).
I also agree that the scene added a little value in that Maggie indicated she's ready to move on, and called Victor out on his hesitation at getting hurt. I think this is the first time he's gotten involved with a woman who hasn't had a hidden agenda.
