What's your make up routine? (Read 688 times)

Do you love to wear lots of make up? Do you prefer a 5 minute or less make up routine? Maybe you rarely wear make up? What's your routine?

If I don't draw on my eyebrows, I don't have any (when I was in college, it was REALLY in to have very thin brows - they never grew back). And once I've done that, it would look silly for me not to do the rest. As it is, a full face only takes me about 20 mins. I don't think that's too bad. But no, I never leave the house without it. Unless it's to the beach or the pool.

I use a concealer under my eyes almost everyday (unless I am going to be spending the day outside with my sunglasses on and nobody will see my eyes). Then I use a powder and bronzer. Little bit of eyeshadow and eyeliner and some mascara. That's it. I can usually do it in about 5-10 minutes.

I wear tinted moisturizer with SPF, blush, eye liner and lip gloss. Definitely 5 minutes or less. Occasionally I wear more makeup.

I never leave the house without make up on!! I love to glam it up everyday!! It only takes me about 25 minutes to do my make up everyday

I would wear more makeup, but I hate spending money on makeup and I hate they way cheap makeup feels on my face. I don't like my face feeling greasy or too made up.

I have recently become addicted to primer. I like the way it evens out my skin. Sometimes I just put finishing powder over it instead of liquid or cream foundation. I also love the BB foundations that have skin care ingredients and are a little lighter, sort of a cross between a tinted moisturizer and a regular foundation. I usually put makeup on every day, even though I work from home. It makes me feel more professional and polished. I'm not sure how long it takes me. Probably too long. LOL.

DancingDays - Me too! Do you have a favorite eyebrow pencil or powder? My new favorite is by Hourglass (just a coincidence) and it's sold at HSN. It's pricey, but it's the best eyebrow product I've ever used and I've been searching for a long time.

kpatch - I use 4 different things on my brows. Two different colored pencils, and two different colored "marker" like things. Added all together, I think they make more of a natural brow look with individual hairs. At least I like to think so. All of it is available at Publix.

Ooh I like Publix.

I do that with lipsticks, blend colors that I don't like so much to create a color I do.

Depending on my complexion determines how much I wear. I'm 31 and still battling acne. Probably b/c I go and go until I fall out - not taking time to wash it off at night. Being a red head, my eyebrows and lashes are blonde so eyebrow powder, eyeliner, and mascara are a must everyday...unless I'm home sick. Usually for work I go foundation and powder also. That's usually about it tho. And the foundation is a very lightweight natural foundation. I HATE for makeup to be caked on my face to the point of showing where I have scratched an itch on my cheek.

I do a basic foundation and/or powder just to even out my skin tone. I should use concealer under my eyes, but only do when I'm dressing up/going somewhere special. Blush and lipstick when I'm going to be out in public longer than a quick trip the grocery store. I don't do eye makeup because I have a tendency to get stuff in my eyes, I rub my eyes a lot or something.

I don't really ever wear make-up unless my 6 year old sister forces me to, and on that very rare occasion that I do I just wear eyeliner.
