I LOVE this show. I'm almost through Season 2 on Netflix and I know Season 3 just ran on BBC. They are really more like a mini-series, only a few episodes. Dramatic and suspenseful, scary, kind of dark. Luther is such a great complex character. Idris Elba is very, very sexy too.
Anyone else watch?

I love Luther! I'm currently rewatching on Netflix and will catch up with Season 3 probably next week.

I just finished Season 2 (only four episodes) on Netflix. I only meant to watch an episode or two but the stories carry through and I just had to keep watching to see how it turned out.
I don't have BBC channel so I'm not sure about watching Season 3 for a while. I read in Entertainment Weekly that it's very scary.
Fluffy, if you don't scare easily, you might want to check it out. They are probably re-running in on BBC. I think there are only four episodes to Season 3 as well and I got the impression that they were showing the episodes on consecutive nights, maybe they were just going to show the same episode four nights in a row for the first week.

What kind of scary is it? Gory scary or mind trip scary?

MrsM, I don't think it's particularly gory. It's about a British cop who's a little bit rogue I guess. He doesn't do things the way he's supposed to and he's kind of tortured (emotionally, not physically). There is some blood but I don't think it's worse than any other cop show, maybe even less gory. I guess it's more creepy scary b/c of some of the criminals he deals with. Sometimes they are very creepy killers and it's just scary to think about people like that being around. So - I guess it's like a lot of crime shows in that regard. I also have to admit that I'm kind of a chicken so what I find creepy and scary you may not.

Ok, it doesn't sound too bad. I just hate watching horror movies or things like that, but this sounds really good. I think I will have to add it to my list.
