Am I the only one who found it odd that Melanie and Abby are suddenly BFF's? They were hanging out at Daniel's apartment together. Don't get me wrong, I am fine with them becoming friends but it seems like a really quick turn around from the cat fight they were having a few days ago. It may have been yesterday considering how looong a Day can be in Salem!

Oh, they probably bonded by saying "It's that time of the month". "Really, me too!" and there you go. Days does have a history of instant friendships. Like Chloe/Nicole. One day Nicole keeping Chloe from getting reconstructive surgery, the next they're BFFs.

I was wondering about that too. In Salem time, weren't they just at each other's throats like yesterday?!? Can you say bi-polar? Inconsistency much?

Yeah it struck me as odd, but whatever. At least we didn't have to see Dimbulb.

I thought the same thing and I think they are an odd pair. I do think Melanie needs a friend, but Melanie and Abby together look like a couple of high school kids. I guess Melanie is one of those rare people who is able to relate to all ages, from Abby to Brady to Maggie to Victor. It's a nice trait.

I like them as friends, but it was REALLY weird how Abby was coming to see her at home so quickly! Plus there was no reason for her to even be there. And then Melanie was like, "Oh, I, uh, wanted to talk to you about the hospital's, um, internship program for, uh, interning, and uh--" What?! Did Abby go over there to talk about something they've already discussed that she is already doing?!

kpatch, that is why I do like Melanie and think the writers were inadvertently smart (because I doubt they had the foresight to do it on purpose) when they had her move into Maggie's house right after Nick went to jail. And I love, love, love that Victor likes her. Not only does that bode well for Melanie's longevity as a character to be involved with the veteran characters, but it shows that Victor isn't a total misogynist or a meddler like Kate.
But back to topic, yeah it was odd to see them be friendly after that forced and awkward apology fest. Melanie even referred to Abby indirectly to Maggie as "meeting my friend". But I did like the idea of them teaming up or being friends after Abby started mentioning all the things they could do to kick Dario out. I saw a gleam of something there....vaguely reminding me of the schemes of Sami and Lucas from way, way, way back in the day.

The scheming part was funny but don't bring roaches into an apartment Abby! They will go across the hall too.
