After watching today's scenes at the Cheating Heart between Chloe and Justin, I am really confused about what is going on with Philip and Parker. Right before Philip left Salem with Parker, he made a point of telling Chloe that he was going to be staying at the Kiriakis apartment in Chicago and that Chloe would always know where him and Parker are at all times and that once she straightened out her life that she could come see them and they would take it from there in regards to Chloe sharing custody of Parker with him. I just don't understand how on today's show when Chloe was talking to Justin about Philip and Parker that Philip is not taking her calls and answering her emails allowing her to know that him and Parker are alright. This is just not making any sense to me at all. Also it is really weird that considering how Justin is Philip's lawyer that he hasn't talked to Philip since he left town with Parker and that he doesn't know where he is right now because I would think that Justin would need to have an idea where Philip is because of social services. Another thing the dream that Chloe described having where Philip and Parker were behind a glass wall and Parker was crying and she couldn't reach him, I wonder if this is going to end up being some sort of foreshadowing that Philip and Parker are in danger somewhere.
Is anyone else as confused as I am as to what is going on with Philip and Parker?

I would think that Victor would have been in contact with Philip. Justin could ask Victor about him and Parker. I think Chloe should have asked Brady to call Philip and find out about Parker. It makes no sense to me why it is being written this way since I doubt they are planning to bring back Philip already. I think Chloe should be shown on the phone talking to Philip instead of these odd scenes. Unless it's just another way to have Chloe be more upset and vulnerable to Quinn's advances. That is probably it!

Someone over on the daytime royalty website posted an interesting theory that maybe Victor or even Kate is preventing Philip from being able to communicate with Chloe about Parker.

Someone over on the daytime royalty website posted an interesting theory that maybe Victor or even Kate is preventing Philip from being able to communicate with Chloe about Parker. ^^ Are they reading my stories? LOL. I agree with you karebr. It seems like they are setting up a storyline to possibly bring the character of Philip back or at least hedging their bets just in case. More likely, it's to give Chloe more reason to throw herself a pity party that would rationalize otherwise irrational behavior for her upcoming story. My first thought was also that Philip is in some kind of trouble. He was so hellbent in keeping Parker in Chloe's life and vice versa that this just doesn't make sense (neither did his exit, but I digress). When Philip left, he wasn't angry with Chloe. He was disappointed in her and lost his trust in her. He didn't want Parker used as a pawn and he didn't want Chloe to have the opportunity to take Parker away from him as she threatened Kate she might do. After everything he did to try to help Chloe and serve as "her rock," he would not be likely to cut off communication with her. This is all very disheartening and feels overly contrived.

I think they are just making this up to cause Chloe more distress. I think they forgot the way they wrote Phillip out and the things he said and now they are just making him out to be a jerk to give Chloe and excuse to be a hot mess.

Mrs. M I think that is exactly what they are doing. The more distressed she is the more bad choices she will make. It gives TPTB more excuses to throw her in the sack with strangers or whatever nasty things they have planned for Chloe! I hope not but we shall see.
