I'm glad they submitted Caroline's alzheimer's story. She really did an awesome job in those scenes. I'm still trying to figure out how Arianne Zucker is considered a supporting actress. To me, she was lead. Especially in the storyline she submitted. Love that both Freddie & Chandler are up for younger actor. Thanks for posting fluffysmom!! |

I thought Freddie was too old for younger...wasn't he like 27 when he started on Days? Maybe I am mixing him up.
Arianne is lead Peggy stole her spot and Days was wrong for that. I don't care how old Peggy McKay is.
I am rooting for AZ and two of my guys from GH in lead actor and supporting.

I know Peggy McCay is not a lead actress on Days of Our Lives, but I really hope she wins. She amazed me the first time I watched these scenes.

So can you guys clarify for me exactly what "lead actress" and "supporting actress" means?? In my mind, Peggy was a lead in her alzheimer's storyline. Peter would have been a supporting actor in that. Up until today, Alison Sweeney has been supporting b/c she wasn't front & center of a major storyline. Arianne was a lead in her baby's death storyline but lately has been supporting as she hasn't really been involved in a major plot/storyline. I don't usually follow the awards and how the nominations are determined so I just want to make sure I'm on the same page as everyone. I'm finding out more & more that my logic of thinking doesn't match everyone else's.  |

HLN is airing the awards four times in a row this evening and into the night. So hopefully anyone who wants to watch will have plenty of opportunity to watch or record it.
