I know we have discussed this before, but does anyone have new information relating to who she is going to be?

According to what I read, it is still a secret and it is not Belle. It does say she will be on screen sometime in June. Perhaps someone else has more info.

I hope she is a brand new unrelated character. Maybe she will be Melanie and she never made it to Europe, Nick had her hidden in a storage locker the whole time. Lol Jen was good as Maxie so I can totally see her as Mel.

On another message board people are speculating that she might be playing Jeanie Donavon, Shane and Kimberly's daughter. Apparently Jen tweeted that she wished that Peggy McCay really was her grandmother or something like that and since it has been reported that she will not be re-cast people assumed it was Jeannie since she is Caroline's only granddaughter that has never been cast as an adult.
I personally would love it if it were Jeannie and she actually wouldn't be related to that many people. Her only male relatives would be Eric and Will. She could be a romantic interest for Chad, Cameron, J.J., Daniel, Rafe, or Lucas. She would have plenty of possible love interest and still be related to a core family.

I could go for Jeannie. I think that sounds like a pretty good guess. Would love to see Shane back if that is the case.

Thumbs down to a new Brady IMO. Fresh blood please..why do they need to be related to a core family? Towns have more than a few families in them. Making the new character a Brady, limits her possibilities...not just for romance, but who they can bring on as people related to her. We need someone unattached like Nicole - or Gabi. Then the family trees can fork again.

I get what you are saying about an unattached character being the best option and I don't disagree with you, but if they are going for someone from an established family the Donavon's would be their best options. Jeanie and her brother Andrew really are not related to that much people on the canvas and could both have plenty of love interest options. Plus they are blank slates since neither has been seen or heard from since they were young children.

They might be blank slates but they are half Brady which puts them related to a bunch. New blood would be nice. I agree with Slyn, but the last new blood was a disaster as in Madison.

I have heard speculation about her as Jeannie Donovan. Technically she would not be related to Brady by blood. Brady's parents are John and Isabella, Isabella is Victor's daughter, Victor and Caroline share a child together who is Bo, so if she was Bo's daughter she would be related by blood. I think I have this right! If it means bringing back at some point by favorite couple Shane and Kim, I am all for it! Guess we will find out soon!

John's birth mom is Shawn Brady's sister. Unless his paternity changed yet again.
I think it would be interesting to see Jeannie as an adult.

John's birth mom is Shawn Brady's sister. Unless his paternity changed yet again. I think it would be interesting to see Jeannie as an adult. Jeannie is Brady's second cousin, assuming the John is Ryan Brady storyline is still canon. The show could easily rewrite that, especially since TomSell seem intent on diminishing John's role on the show. As it is, I don't see current Brady being involved with Jen Lilley's character. Eric Martsoff is 41 and Jen Lilley is 28. I also don't see her getting mixed up with Daniel (Shawn Christian is 47) or Rafe (Galen Gering is 42). (Greg Vaughan, who plays Eric, is 39, but Eric looks destined to be paired with Nicole, played by Arianne Zucker, who is 38.) I think it is more likely that Jen Lilley's character will be on the older side of the younger age group, which consists of Chad, Will, Sonny, Cameron, Nick, Abby, and Gabi. Nathan Owens and Blake Berris also are 28, so Jen Lilley fits right into that group. In that age group, only Will has any Brady blood (he also is a Horton like Abby). Having a Brady female does not limit any of the relationship options in that age group, because none of the straight men are Bradys. Chad, Nick, and Cameron are all open. (If the show ever freed EJ from Sami's clutches, he could possibly get involved with a younger Brady, since James Scott is 34.) Moreover, the show appears to be casting at least one, if not two, male contract characters in the 25-30 age group, so there may be plenty of options for love-interests for a Brady female. Also in the vein for new blood, Chrishell Stause's character is coming later in the summer. She is 31 and is supposed to be playing a "new character," which suggests she will not be related to the main families.
