Does anyone play this scrabble game? I just started playing with my niece who lives in New Jersey.
Isn't this the game that Will and Marlena used to play back around the time Marlena first returned to Salem?

My husband plays with his sisters and his mom. I don't know about Will and Marlena though.

I play it from time to time. The app works from time to time but after a couple of months, it starts to freeze up and won't load the most recent game correctly. Then when I try to play a new word (or don't see the word of the opponent), I try to refresh it, kill the app, etc. and it still does not act right. I have to completely delete the app from the phone and redownload it but then I have to start new games. When I play now, it's only online. I'm not downloading on my phone anymore - and all the updates that I have to download for the app are just ridiculous.

Mae, for me when I have problems with the app, deleting and reinstalling works out the problem and the games are still on there. I had to stop playing on the desktop as the back and forth from the desktop and the mobile app seemed to freeze my games up.

I was only playing on my phone. I didn't ever go out to the online version until this last time.

Yes, I think it was the game Marlena and Will used to play.
I've never played the game. I have a few friends who play it on facebook. Or at least it shows up on their facebook.
My grandma and my aunt used to make me play scrabble with them. They had timers and dictionaries. It took hours and I was so bored. I just wanted to go read a book or play a faster moving game.

Those ads that pop up every time you send a word will make me crazy! I am addicted to this game. I usually play about 4-5 games at a time. If you pay for the upgraded game (I think it's $2.99) the ads will go away. If you like the game and think you're going to keep playing, I suggest investing in the upgrade. Totally worth it. |

The only ads that bother me are the video ones, which I don't get those very often. I usually have 3-6 games active at a time. I'm currently trying to beat a friend of mine. She has NEVER lost a game no matter who's she's played, and I want to be the one to take her skinny little butt down! I came within 12 points of her once, that's the closest anyone has come to beating her.

I tried it once but it seemed silly to send a word and then wait hours and hours for one reply. I quit quickly.

The friend I'm trying to beat will take 4-5 days in between words, so I've got two other people that play a few words a day so those games go quicker.

My niece is quick. Sometimes too quick. LOL. We are on our third game in as many days. Thanks for the info DancingDays. I might have to break down and upgrade. |
