Has anyone checked out OLTL or AMC online? I am curious about AMC as I watched it years ago with my mom, aunt and grandma. I've never watched OLTL. I am very happy for the fans and for the soap opera genre.

I watched the first episode of All My Children. My grandma used to watch it when it was on TV and, when I would stay with her, I watched it with her. The new version of it is interesting. I don't know the characters well, except for Erica, Bianca, Kendall, and J.R., so I've been asking my grandma a lot of questions about the show. I like it so far. It's interesting. I'm definately gonna continue watching!

I think I will check it out. I watched in the early to mid 80's. Jesse and Angie were in high school back then. Looks like a lot of the long time cast members are back...Opal, Dr. Joe, Angie, Jesse, Brooke and Adam. I don't know the younger characters.

One of them is a teenaged version of Bianca and Reese's daughter, Miranda. The storyline is only just getting started, but it's good so far.

ABC soap girl here...very happy to see these two get another chance. I have watched both off and on since I was a kid. I wasn't planning on watching OLTL because at first they were going to make the three OLTL characters that are now on GH do that show instead and I was in a mini-protest, but now that it is all resolved. I can go back to being a multi-soap viewer.
It is so hard to believe Miranda is a teen already. I remember the storyline when she was born.

Some of the characters and actors are the same. I think there may be some new characters too. If they are successful then maybe they will get more actors to return.

I like that they were able to bring the soaps back even if it is online!! Most of the actors went to GH or Y&R

I only watch soaps online so this works for me really well. I don't think I've watched an episode of GH on an actual TV in like 2 years.

I told my mother in law as she watched AMC for decades. She wasn't too sure about trying to watch on line. She doesn't use the computer a whole lot.

He was a really bad guy back in the 80's. He was a pimp. He was involved with Estelle who fell in love with Benny Sago. He returned later to wreak more havoc but I wasn't watching then. Trying to get hubby to remember. His mom watched for decades so he saw lots of AMC.
