Okay..so one night while I was experiencing writers block (I'm writing a new story..hopefully) I went on youtube to find the theme song to Moonlighting (One of my favorites) and I started watching clips and full episodes. I had forgotten how good that show really was (until season 4 and 5) Boy Bruce Willis was good looking. Just curious to see if anyone else out there liked the show..hopefully I'm not the only one old enough to remember it!

I loved Moonlighting back in the day. It was smart and funny and sexy ... up until Maddy and David became an actual couple. Now I'm singing that theme song. Some walk by night ... some fly by day ... moonlighting strangers ....

It was one of my favorites for sure! Agree how it wasn't the same once they were a couple.. (side trivia, one of my best friends in high school later became a bartender in a bar in NYC, and one night she was making out with one of the clientele, and it was Bruce Willis, before he hit it big on this show)

I think the writers didn't know what to do with them after they became a couple. There was no reason why the bickering could not continue if done right. Take Castle...they are a couple this season and their work relationship has stayed the same. The writers do not go overboard with the couple stuff. They keep those scenes pretty short so everyone is always waiting to see them. It is a shame they couldn't figure it out for David and Maddie, though I think a huge part was that both stars wanted out by then too. |

I also loved Moonlighting. That was on when I was in high school I think. My mom and I both loved it. They were so smart and witty. I loved their banter and Bruce Willis was too funny. I'm surprised it's not on in re-runs anywhere.

Never seen it so I looked it up and says it started in March of 1985 and I was born in April of 1984 so I was just a little bitty baby when this show started.

I used to love Remington Steele. I always thought it was an attempt to copy the success of Moonlighting. Pierce Brosnan. Mmmm.

I watched Moonlighting as a young child with my mom... I don't remember anything about it other than it had Bruce Willis....and yeah he was pretty good looking back then. I was 2 when it started...hmm maybe we were watching reruns LOL

I remember the show but I don't remember watching it regularly. I do remember watching Remington Steele. |
