Yesterday's show was way better than today's show in my opinion.
The one bright spot was Nicole, although I hated that she let EJ keep putting his hands on her throat. Loved her hitting him though. Hated seeing the flashback to the kiss. Again. Kill me now.
Was Sami and Caroline's conversation the most boring thing ever? That's a real question. Every time they came on my screen, my fast-forward button somehow activated. And every time I hit play, Sami was saying "I just have to face facts that it's over between me and Rafe." I think my tape was stuck.
Rafe and the sister had their moments. Too many of them.
Today's show could have been condensed into 20 minutes with the same result.

Ugh. I had a nice response all typed up and then I accidentally erased it all. Grrr.....
Nicole was awesome, but I wanted to deck EJ for manhandling her the way he did after he found out she had the goods on him.
Caroline just seems weird to me lately. I don't know if it is her delivery or what it is, but she seems off.
The rest of the show is just meh.

Gotcha. I missed that comment about the butcher knife. It seemed like Caroline and Sami were stuck in an endless loop the whole episode. Was there really any point to the conversation or did it seem like mostly filler?
Didn't Nick Fallon use Caroline's butcher knife to kill Trent?

For some reason here the show recorded with no sound. I am listening to it on Soapnet while I am on here. The only scenes that have drawn my attention away from the computer are Nicole and Ej's. Caroline does seem out of it. Maybe the Sami and Caroline scenes would have been better if they had been drunk! Or maybe if I was drunk!

I agree...I think towards the end of the episode, I did wind up going "blah blah whine whine..." and FF their scenes. Not interested in hearing the same ole thing over and over.
I thought the way EJ/Nicole scene was played out was fabulous. You could see EJ really wanting to hurt her by the way he would threaten Nicole (fingers on her neck), but Nicole stood her ground and even sort of revealed her neck to him at one point (indicating she's not going to let him push her around). The body language was fantastic!
Though, I was bummed that Nicole didn't just take the offer for peace with EJ to get visitation rights to Sydney. Which is what she always wanted. Now she's vengeful and I hope it works out to her favor (but I don't think it will, since it never does).

FF thru scenes isn't something I normally do, but I kinda got tired of listening to Caroline and Sami talk. I love em both, but yadda yadda yadda! It got a little old. Except the butcher knife. But I think it should be used on EJ first. And make sure it's reeeeaally dull...
Thursday - today's show was great. Kudos big time for Galen/Rafe...he's awesome.

I finally got around to watching it and, WOW! The scenes between EJ and Nicole were completely electric. I was totally pulled in by them. Well done James and Ari!

Trey, I agree with you about the staging/body language of EJ and Nicole's scenes. They were spot on and fabulous. When Nicole hit him, boy I had to give EJ a bit of credit for just taking it. He didn't look like he wanted to lash back at her, almost like he was expecting it and felt like he had to take it in order to get her to agree to the divorce. Then of course, EJ reveals his true self later on when she reveals the blackmail. The fingers and hands on her neck, how I hate that! Edit: I forgot to say that Ari Zucker was amazing. Watching the beginning of those scenes, and if I didn't know the whole story, I would have totally believed she was truly upset about the divorce and was blindsided by it. She did make me feel empathy for the situation she was painting for EJ. Ari is truly gifted and fabulous. Okay, done with the Nicole love for the moment. :=

I agree. Ari is doing an awesome job! Nicole is the only good thing in the Taylor story.

AMEN! I am loving Nicole these days! But I am just wishing she would go ahead and lash out at Taylor. But, I guess that is in due time...

I wasn't really watching during the time Nicole was involved with Eric Brady, but wasn't there a rivalry between Taylor and Nicole then too? What does Taylor do between visits to Salem? Stay celebate?
