... ever say "I swear," as Sister Rose did today? (And by the way, I loved her when she performed with the Cornelius Brothers.)
I mean, is that allowed? She said "I swear" in a house of God. Didn't seem right to me.

I am totally not the person that would know that, but you are right, sounds wrong.

I think that would be highly inappropriate.

I was surprised at the nun sitting on Rafe's bed.

I was surprised at the fact that a nun found a man in the woods and, rather than calling 911, dragged him home and dumped him in bed!

I was surprised at the fact that a nun found a man in the woods and, rather than calling 911, dragged him home and dumped him in bed! Actually, that part, I wasn't all that surprised at. I mean, come on. You're a single lady and you come across Galen Gering in the woods AND he's already unconcious?? Sounds perfectly resonable to me. I'd have to knock him out first to get him to come back to my place.

She's a pretty nun, too. What I wanna know is, do nuns still wear habits like she's wearing? I don't think she would have been alone in the room with Rafe, isn't that inappropriate? I'm Baptist, not Catholic, so there is a lot about it I don't have a clue about. But, this IS Days, so...fact/faction have some serious gray areas!

Nuns are people, too. LOL
Some can opt for the habit, but it's not really a requirement anymore. And, there's nothing inapprorpriate about what she's done so far.

I think it may depend on the order they are in whether or not they wear a habit.

I don't believe things are as "strict" as they once were with nuns. These days I've seen them in regular street clothing and volunteering right along with other members of society. I don't see anything wrong with any part of the script thus far. I swear.

Here's another question. After many days of struggling to "place" Sister Rose (I knew I recognized her voice from somewhere and she looked vaguely family), I finally figured it out. She played Pretty Crane on Passions...........but in watching yesterday's show online today, I noticed that she is wearing a solid gold band on the ring finger on her left hand. I'm not Catholic but I thought that jewelry was not considered a necessity and that they didn't wear it, much less wearing what appears to be a wedding band on that all important finger....

I'm not Catholic either, but as I alway understood it, nuns are "married" to God/Jesus so they do wear very simple wedding bands.

That makes sense when you look at it that way....
