Here's the latest comings and goings casting news from Days of Our Lives.

Get ready for some family expanding. The show has cast Jack and Jennifer's teenage son, Jack Jr. The character, who'll go by the name JJ, is being played by a daytime newcomer. The show is keeping a tight lid on the actor's identity. However, it will be revealed soon, since JJ begins airing in April.

Nadia Bjorlin's run as Chloe and Patrika Darbo's stint as Nancy will soon be coming to an end. The actresses and their characters are set to leave the soap and Salem in mid-April.

I'm glad Chloe is leaving sooner than we thought and Jack Jr. could be fun.

I hope he despises Daniel. I am glad they are sorasing him, I think they also need to soras Ciara, Johnny, and Ali. The show need a new teen set.

Thanks Wendylou. I had read in SOD that Nadia was returning for about 4 months. Glad that storyline will be wrapping up in a month.

Hmmm...this may be reading too much into this but I just realized this says Nancy and Chloe are leaving but it doesn't mention Parker. I hope that's just b/c he's a young unknown actor and not b/c he's going to stay on with Daniel.

Kpatch, I think it'd be very hard to find someone like Jack, but who knows, Days has been on a role lately. Maybe they actually found a gem. I imagine he's going to be in the defiant teen stage. Maybe he and Brady can hang out.

I hate to see Nadia leave Days AGAIN.......I wonder what she will be doing next?

Actually this Chloe has to go... so I am actually happy about it. I know it is not her fault & that is why I wish her nothing but the best!!! Maybe before she leaves they will fix Chloe so we can once again love this character as she was.

I still can't believe Nadia agreed to come back for this terrible storyline. I'm super glad it's ending.

As for JJ, it's about dang time!!! So idiotic that they've waited THIS long to bring him on. Selfishly, I hope he's a hottie!

I wonder how much the actors know about the story when they agree to return to the show. It doesn't seem like they know much about the stories until they actually get their scripts.

I wonder if they'll be casting more of the younger set? I'm glad this Chloe nonsense will come to an end. Maybe next time, Chloe will come back in a time machine and knock some sense into her own self. Oy!

Chloe comes back differently every time. She is just used to push a plot. She hasn't been a good standalone character since she took off that black cape and suddenly became beauty queen. The show just never bothered to develop her after that. She's either a witch or a damsel in distress.

The only scenes I have been watching on Days of late have been the Chloe ones...she added some much needed drama into a dull couple. Too bad the writers once again held back and didn't go in for the kill. I swear someone on that show is scared of making characters bleed.

Like Kurt Vonnegut said - Be a sadist. No matter how sweet and innocent your leading characters, make awful things happen to them—in order that the reader may see what they are made of.

TPTB at DOOL seem to have forgotten that.
