I saw that and am watching right now. Hooray he is gone, but at the same time, he has followers that will continue to do his bidding. It isn't going to change a thing.

I hate to say that I was overjoyed at this news but this really was a great victory for America and our wonderful, brave armed forces and intelligence personnel. I'd like to shake the hand of the Navy SEAL who got to pull the trigger!  I know it's not a very Christian thing of me to be glad that someone was killed but the man is responsible for taking thousands of innocent lives and justice needed to be served. USA!! USA!! USA!! So here's the interesting thing....believe me or don't believe me, but on Saturday I had heard the news about NATO forces killing Qaddafi's son and grandsons in Libya. I think my first reaction was "too bad it wasn't Qaddafi himself". Then I thought about the kids, who had to have been pretty young since the son was only in his late 20's I believe, and I thought it was kind of sad they died. So it got me thinking about Osama Bin Laden and I thought, "now there's someone that I would rejoice in hearing of his death!" And sure enough, we get the news last night that American forces had taken him out!! Wow! How's that for a premonition?  |
