from daytime royalty daytimeroyaltyonline.com/topic/8502382/1/#newSOW: Taylor at a Glance; 5/10 Issue Please link back to Daytime Royalty How is it coming back to Days and stepping into a new role? It's very different. It's a great challenge. There is an adjustment, because the characters of Ava and Taylor are so very different. How would you describe Taylor? Taylor is layered. On the surface, people think they have her figured out. But she hasn't been figured out, and that soon becomes very apparent. During your last stint, you primarily worked with Stephen Nichols and Drake Hogestyn who have both left. Did it still feel familiar coming back? It did feel familiar. When I was on as Ava [in 2008], I got to play for six months with that great csat of people. The pace is much faster now than it was before I was on for such a short stint that it almost feels like I got to go back to camp again. But now I'm in a different cabin! On your last stint, Ava developed a friendship with Nicole. Now you're coming back as Nicole's sister. How are you and Arianne adapting the dynamic from friend to siblings? When I heard I was working with Ari, I was thrilled! We had a blast playing Ava and Nicole. But then Ava went off to Italy so she wouldn't end up going to jail. Ari and I have a sisterly feel about us, so it's nice to play sisters. Taylor and Nicole are going through a lot. There are so many layers to their relationship. It's exciting, because there is a history and so many different places where it can go. There is sibling rivalry, jealous, and love. Did you have scenes with James Scott when you were on before? Yes, but we didn't work together regularly. There were no real scenes just between Ava and EJ. How would you describe the rapport that you're building with James Scott now? It's lovely. #1, he's very tall. I have to reach up to kiss him (laughs). But James is so wonderful and dedicated to making this work. He's also incredibly handsome and smart.
