I am starting to like Carly. She's spiraling out of control, and it's fun to watch. I loved her scene with Jennifer today basically chewing her out and telling Jennifer to stop caring what other people think. I loved when they turned Brady darker with a twist. I liked Nighttime Hope when she was bonking everyone on the heads like they were little bunny foo foo. Sami and Nicole are awesome when they're not obsessing over EJ.

I agree some of the dark side is fun but I miss some happiness also... Does anyone have fun on the show?

Since I'm not allowed to indulge my dark side in real life, I love seeing the darker side on Days. Don't get me wrong, I don't like all the misery that's been on lately. And a slightly devilish side has nothing to do with a kid's eye cancer or impersonating a total stranger for money. I like it when, for example, Brady gets that spark in his eye when he's dealing with Vivian. Or, last year, when EJ was trying to convince Sami that she loved him. The bad boy appeals to me. Always has.

i like a bad boy too. And you are right, the dark side has NOTHING to do with misery. A little mischief is a good thing. I like the darker Brady. He appeals to me A LOT. I think that is why I like Phillip so much too. He is a good guy, but he has the ruthless side to him that I like.

Exactly. I like the Darker/Playful side, instead of the clear cut All Good vs. All Bad guy/gal.
I like them layered and ornery a bit. Not necessarily always unhappy (like Hope is always drowning in her own misery). But, balanced.
