I deleted the other thread because I've redone my story. I now know how I want this story to go. Please let me know what you think.
Title: True Love Lives
Summary: Kate (Lauren Koslow) is married to Victor but she is not in love with him. Kate is deeply in love with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Roman is deeply in love with Kate.

Chapter 1
February 1995
Kate goes to the Salem PD.
"Is Captain Brady here?" Kate asks Officer Burke.
"Yes ma'am, he is in his office.
"Thank you."
Kate knocks on the door.
"Come in"
"Hello Captain Brady." Kate says with a smile as she closes the door behind her.
"Hello gorgeous." Roman says with a smile.
Roman gets up and goes over to Kate and kisses her.
'God I've missed you Katie."
"I've missed you so much Roman."
They kiss again.
"Victor is out of town on a business trip."
"That's great news Kate."
"Yes and Philip is staying with Bo and Hope and they're going to take him, Shawn D., and Stephanie camping this weekend."
"So that's means back to my place tonight." Roman says as he kisses Kate's hand.
"You got it."
"Katie we have been together for eight months; when are you going to tell Victor about us so you can get the divorce you want?"
"Roman you know I want to divorce Victor and marry you more then anything; but you know it's not just that easy."
"Sure it is Kate."
"What about Philip; he is eight years old and I don't want to make it hard on him."
"Do you think it's going to be better on him to have parents who are married to each other, don't love each other and are fighting all the time."
"I know and that's true; and I am going to tell Victor soon; but let's not talk about this right now; I would rather just focus on us."
"Yes ma'am" Roman says as he kisses Kate again."
"I love you Katie."
"I love you to Roman."
"So I will see you tonight then Katie."
"You can count on it."
Roman and Kate start back kissing.
Bo comes in and asks Office Burke 'Is Roman here?"
"Yes, he is in is office."
"Thanks."
Bo knocks on the door and then opens it.
"Hey big bro; what's going on in here?"
"What's it look like; I'm talking to Kate."
"Well I just got a tip and that's why I came to get you we got to go on stake out now."
"Ok I will be right there; can you give us a minuite please."
"Sure" Bo says with a puzzled look on his face.
Bo leaves and closes the door.
"Roman we are going to have to lock your office door next time; what if Bo had caught us?"
"Well he didn't"
Kate puts her arms around Roman's neck and they gaze into each other eyes.
"I love you Captain Brady"
"I love you Katie and I will you see tonight beautiful."
"Please be careful Roman."
"You know I will."
Roman and Kate kiss again before leaving his office.
"Ok Bo I'm ready."
Roman leaves with Bo and Kate leaves as well.
Roman and Bo are out on stake out.
“Roman I’ve got to ask you; is their something going on with you and Kate?”
“First of all little brother; there is nothing going on with Kate and me and second of all even if there was something between us that would not be any of your business anyways.”
“Roman, Kate is married to my father so it would be my business.”
“That’s where you’re wrong little brother and like I already said there is nothing going on between me and Kate.”
“Ok fine but…”
“There are our guys” Roman says.
“Yeah that’s them alright.” Bo replies.
Roman and Bo wait for the two men to go inside before getting out of the car.
“You take the front and I take the back.” Roman says.
“You got it bro.”
When one of the guys sees Bo he takes off.
Bo chases him and handcuff’s him.
“Nice try dirt bag.”
Roman is around back waiting for the other guy.
The second guy comes out and sees Roman and also takes off.
Roman chases him and catches him.
“Not fastest enough are you?”
Roman handcuff’s him.
Roman and Bo take the two suspects to the Salem Police Department.
After Roman and Bo get everything taking care of at the station Bo asks Roman “You want to go over to Buddy's Burger Barn and get something to eat?”
“Yeah I’m starving.”
Roman and Bo are at Buddy's Burger Barn.
“Roman I think we should finish what we were talking about earlier.”
“Bo there is nothing to finish talking about.”
“I think there is.”
“Kate and I where talking that was it.”
“What were you and Kate talking about in your office?”
“That’s none of your business Bo.’
“Just curious; it just looked like there was more then just talking going on.”
“You know what Bo I’m not going to set here and listen to this.”
Roman gets up and leaves.
“Roman wait”
Roman leaves.

I added what was going to be chapter 2 to this first chapter because it fits better with chapter 1. Thanks again to gapeach for the great title!

Chapter 2
At Salem Pier
Roman is walking down at the pier and sees Kate.
“Kate; what are you doing here?”
“Roman; I’m so happy to see you.”
“I’m happy to see you too; but you don’t need to be at the pier all by yourself.”
“Roman I’m a grown women; I can handle being at the pier all by myself.”
“Katie it’s just that the pier is not the safest place to be by yourself.”
“Roman I’m fine; what’s wrong?”
“Nothing”
“Roman I can tell something else is bothering you.”
“Kate, Bo is on to us.”
“What?”
“Bo keeps asking is there anything going on between us.”
“What did you tell him?”
“I told him that nothing was going on and he just wouldn’t let it go, so I left.”
“Roman it doesn’t matter because I’m going to tell Victor about us soon; I don’t love Victor and he doesn’t love me.”
“Your right Katie; it doesn’t matter all that does matter is us and there is no way I’m going to let Bo ruin our weekend together.”
“So let’s talk about this weekend.” Kate smiles as she puts her arms around Roman’s neck.
Roman smiles back.
“Oh Katie I can’t wait for the weekend to get here.
“I can’t wait either.” Kate says with a smile.
Roman and Kate kiss.
“Katie I just want to hold you in my arms but I’ve got to get back to the station.”
“I know; I want to stay here in your arms but I’ve got to get back work too.”
“I see you later Katie.” Roman says as he kisses Kate.
“You can count on it Captain Brady.”
Roman smiles.
"I love you Katie."
"I love you too Roman."
Kate and Roman leave and return to work.

I think it all depends on what happens in the scene. Some scenes are shorter than others. That's fine.

I don't think so. Their encounter probably wouldn't be too long since someone could see them together at the pier.
