Chapter 7 COMMON ROOM Johnny walked over to Allie and shook his head. JOHNNY: How could you? ALLIE: I did what was necessary. JOHNNY: And so will I. When the time comes, I'll do what's necessary, too. ALLIE: Is that supposed to be a threat? JOHNNY: What do you think? ALLIE: You can't threaten me, Johnny. I'm your sister. JOHNNY: Half-sister. And what exactly gives you the right to go meddling in my personal life. ALLIE: I was trying to protect you. I thought I was doing the right thing. JOHNNY: Oh, yeah right. I know exactly why you did this. ALLIE: Really? Well, I'd love to hear this. Why did I do it then, Johnny? JOHNNY: You're jealous. ALLIE: Jealous? JOHNNY: Starting the first day of camp, you wanted to be my partner. But, I noticed Joy and saw that she was all alone and decided to be her partner instead. And, for some strange reason, you got jealous of her. You couldn't handle the fact that I wanted to hang out with her for these two weeks. It ate away at you until you couldn't take it. So, when you started to see that the two of us were getting close, you decided that you would be just like our mother and destroy any chance I had with her. ALLIE: I am not like our mother! JOHNNY: Yes, you are! You are exactly like our mother! She never stops meddling in other people's lives until she gets what she wants, and neither do you! You're nearly a carbon copy of her! ALLIE: You really think that this is all out of jealousy? I was protecting you! I didn't want either you or Joy to get in trouble if things got out of hand. I had your best interests at heart! I was just trying to make sure that neither of you got hurt! JOHNNY: Well, look how well that's turned out! Now both of us are hurt. And as for having my best interests at heart, I don't believe you had anyone's best interests at heart. ALLIE: Believe what you want, Johnny, but I know the truth. JOHNNY: So do I. And I've been thinking about this for quite a while. Maybe I should move out. ALLIE: What? JOHNNY: When we get back home tomorrow, after Mom picks us up. I'm getting out of the house. ALLIE: Johnny, you're 12. You can't move out. JOHNNY: I can if I move in with my other parent. ALLIE: No, you don't mean... JOHNNY: Yes, I do. When we get back home, I'm moving to the DiMera Mansion. I'm living with father from now on.

I don't think Allie wanted to hurt Johnny. She probably thought Joy would break his heart. Moving in with EJ is the last thing a troubled almost teenager needs.

Chapter 8 COMMON ROOM ALLIE: You can't be serious. JOHNNY: I am. Very serious. ALLIE: You would move into the DiMera Mansion just to get back at me for something I didn't even intend to do? I never intended to hurt you, Johnny, I swear. JOHNNY: Best intentions, huh? Johnny turned around and walked into his bunkroom. OUTSIDE THE CABIN It was the next morning, and the last day of camp. In just a few short hours, everyone would be leaving. Allie was still trying to get Johnny to talk. But, apart from short sentances, Johnny wasn't saying much. ALLIE: You can't stay mad at me forever, Johnny! That got Johnny to talk. JOHNNY: Yes, I can. You have no idea what you've done. ALLIE: I never intended to hurt you. I had the best intentions. JOHNNY: That's what you keep saying. But, I don't believe that. You read the bible, right? ALLIE: You know that I do. JOHNNY: Well, there's this passage I've read recently. Ezekiel 25:17. Sound familiar? ALLIE: Can't say it does. JOHNNY: Well, it goes a little something like this: "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. (getting louder with each word) And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee." ALLIE: Oh, that one. Johnny, stop being so over dramatic and making Pulp Fiction references. JOHNNY: Whatever. Johnny walked away. A few minutes later, Joy walked up to him. JOY: Johnny? JOHNNY: Yes? JOY: I just wanted to say...thanks for everything. JOHNNY: You're welcome. JOY: I'm sorry that things didn't work out between us. JOHNNY: It's okay. It's not your fault. JOY: Okay. I just wanted to say, it really meant a lot to me, what you did and all. Thanks for being a really sweet guy. I'll never forget you. JOHNNY: I'll never forget you, either. JOY: Oh, and could you do one thing for me, Johnny? JOHNNY: I'd do anything for you. What is it? JOY: Please don't be mad at your sister. She wasn't trying to hurt you. JOHNNY: Yeah. Right. Johnny turned and walked away. His eyes grew a bit darker than they had been when he arrived at the camp.

Allie might have upset him but to not forgive her or listen to Joy sounds like Johnny always had it inside of him. It just took this incident to come out.

I'm surprised he's not blaming Joy too. It was her choice whether to ignore Allie's words.

Chapter 9 CAR Listen to this for this chapter: Sami had come to pic Johnny and Allie up. They said their final goodbyes and got in the car. Johnny sat in the front passenger seat and Allie in the back. For a little while, everyone was silent. It was Sami who broke the silence. SAMI: How was camp? ALLIE: It was good. SAMI: You guys have fun? ALLIE: Yeah. We had a lot of fun. Didn't we, Johnny? JOHNNY: Yeah. This wasn't entirely untrue. Johnny had had fun, for the first week and a half, at least. But, then, it had stopped being fun. Johnny wasn't angry at Joy. True, it was her choice to listen to what Allie had said. But, for some reason, Johnny couldn't be mad at Joy. He was mad at Allie, though. Madder than he had ever been before. As they got closer to Salem, Johnny spoke up. JOHNNY: I want to go to father's. SAMI: Okay. The car stopped in front of the DiMera Mansion and Johnny got out. Stop the music DIMERA MANSION He was glad to see his father and grandfather again, and they were more than happy to have him move in. After helping him get settled in, E.J. recieved a phone call. He told Johnny that he would be back in a little while, but he had to go out to take care of some business. After a few minutes, Johnny left the mansion as well, to go for a walk. PIER Johnny's walk brought him to the Pier. He heard two people talking, and decided to see what it was all about. He soon saw his father and youngest sister, Sydney, standing at the edge of one of the docks. Something was different about Sydney, though. Her eyes were dark and her voice was much deeper than normal. She was holding a gun. Johnny hid behind a nearby crate of fish, so as not to be seen by either one. SYDNEY (Stryker): I never forget. I remember everything. All the times you've hurt Sydney. All the times you've caused her pain. Both physically, mentally, and emotionally. You know why I'm even around? Because Sydney needed someone to protect her. And, I gave her that. Congratulations, E.J. You created me. And now, you're gonna pay. Sydney held the gun up in front of E.J. E.J.: Sydney, put the gun down. SYDNEY (Stryker): Never. E.J.: Listen to me, Sydney! Put the gun down! SYDNEY (Stryker): No way. E.J.: Just calm down. I can make this all better. SYDNEY (Stryker): No, you can't! No one can! Especially not you! You did this to me! To her! But, I am gonna make sure that you can never hurt Sydney ever again! E.J.: What? What are you talking about? Sydney pulled the trigger five times. Five bullets went into E.J.'s chest. Johnny watched from behind his fish crate as his father fell into the murky depths of the water.

Johnny should have received counselling after all this but he didn't. It all explains why he changed so dramatically.

What a shocker for Johnny to come home from camp and witness. Any innocence he had left is gone now.

Chapter 10 PIER Slowly, Sydney's eyes went back to the color they normally are. Sami ran out from behind a crate. SAMI: Sydney? Sydney collapsed in Sami's arms. Sami picked her daughter up and walked away. Johnny stayed there, hidden behind a crate of fish. JOHNNY (thinking): No way! How could this happen? How could she do this? To kill our own father like that... WESLEY HOUSE - NEW YORK Joy had just gotten home from camp. She was tired from the 2 weeks at camp, as well as the plane ride. She sat on her bed looking at the things she had brought home. She noticed something lying on the ground. It was just about the same size as a business card. She picked it up and saw that it had a purple phoenix on one side of it. JOY: I don't remember this. She turned it over and saw the name, phone number, address, and e-mail address of the one friend she had made during camp. JOY (whispering): Johnny...I'm sorry. DIMERA MANSION Johnny was now in the DiMera Mansion again, thinking aloud to himself. The great thing about the DiMera Mansion is that you can talk about your devious plans, whatever room you're in. And, if someone hears you, they will either ignore you, or offer to help you. JOHNNY: It looks like Allie won't be the only one to recieve my revenge. Now, it'll be Sydney, too. But how? How would I go about it? MAN: Perhaps I can be of some assistance. Johnny turned around and saw a man who looked unfamiliar to him. JOHNNY: Who are you? MAN: I? Well, I am your dear Uncle André. And I think that I know just the way to help you out with your problem, Giovanni. JOHNNY: How? André smiled and chuckled evilly. THE END

This ending feels like only the beginning. Johnny is on a really bad path with Uncle Andre as a mentor. Great story Andre. I always enjoy all the twists in your stories.
