Please say some prayers for my sister-in-law's family. My brother just called my husband and told him about a terrible situation that is happening right now. I don't know all the details but I do know that her sister was estranged from her husband and today everything came to a head and he attacked her and then tried to kill himself. Please pray for my sister-in-law to stay strong and be there to support her sister and for my brother the be there to support her. Please pray for the 2 children that are involved and will be forever changed by today. They are going to need God more than ever right now. Thanks so much!

Yeah worst part is, I can't tell anyone. My brother confides in my husband, so I turned to you guys for prayers right now. I am pretty shook up about the whole thing. According to my brother the husband is alive but in bad shape. I am not sure how the wife is doing. She got beat up pretty bad and some other things happened to her. We don't know the extent of how badly she is hurt.

Well the husband did not survive. It is almost better that he didn't so the kids don't have to face him and what he did to their mother with all the court and jail and all that good stuff.

Oh my! MrsM, you have my thoughts and prayers as well as the rest of the family, especially those innocent children. May God wrap his arms around all of you and may ya'll find comfort and strength in those arms to help get you through the days that lay ahead.

Thanks everyone. It is just more of a shock for me right now. I can't imagine what they must be going through. To think that someone I have known for the better part of my life was capable of such violence just is beyond me. I haven't really talked to them all that much in the last 8 or 9 years but it is still a mind bender. I just hope my sister-in-law is doing ok. They lost both their mom and their dad already, so now this is just awful on top of that. She and her sister are very close so I know this has to be hell on her.

Well the funeral is Saturday and my whole family is going in support of my brother and sister-in-law. The whole thing is just so hard to comprehend. There are so many facets to the story that just make it all the more unbelievable. The more I hear, the more shock I feel.
