Chloe's life takes another downward dip after she tangles with Kate. It all begins when Daniel and Melanie find Chloe drinking at The Cheatin' Heart in the middle of the afternoon. Daniel questions her behavior, and Chloe snaps. After, she calls Kate to give her a piece of her mind. "Chloe tells Kate she isn't going to take her crap anymore," says Nadia Bjorlin. "But Kate really instigates the fight and records the conversation."
Uh oh. Kate then plays the tape for Phillip, who is shocked to hear Chloe say that she should run away with Parker. "There's a big confrontation," previews Bjorlin of Chloe and Phillip's showdown. Phillip realizes that Chloe isn't prepared to be a mother to Parker. "He tells Chloe, 'I think you might endanger our son,'" she adds, then Phillip reveals he's leaving Salem -- with Parker.
"It seems so sudden and abrupt," sighs Bjorlin, whose alter ego is still coping with depression. "Talk about throwing a wrench into the story and into this woman's life. It's the last thing she expected." So Chloe is forced to say goodbye to the two most important men in her life. And then Victor boots her from the mansion. "Chloe feels like there's no hope," says the actress. "Her dreams are crushed!"

Jay Kenneth Johnson will make his Salem departure on April 20th. "I want to thank the fans for continuing to watch and for following me from my first stint here onto the other shows I've done and back to here," he says. "I hope they keep an eye out for me in the future."
"The last day with Jay was tough," says Nadia Bjorlin. "But we're almost neighbors, so we'll see each other around."
