I just wanted to do a quick post to say I had my beautiful baby girl last week. Ava Leigh was breech so we had to do a c-section. I think I preferred that over the normal delivery I had with my other daughter. Either it's the c-section or it's the fact I've been through the postpartum phase before, but I'm recovering quicker, having some hormonal issues but not to the severity I did before, etc. Ava is healthy and beautiful. Big sister Annabelle is adjusting slowly. She loves to help out with Ava, but is sorta regressing (actually has been for about a month now) to fussiness and slight baby tendencies like pointing at her mouth instead of saying she's hungry, "forgetting" how to put on her shoes, etc. So, there are battles ahead for me and her, but so far she's adjusting to Ava alright, other than some complaining about how loud she is. Annabelle is more than eager to help feed her (at least for the first few minutes), to help with the diaper changing and to fetch things for me if I need them. So, overall, it's not bad
Of course, this means I won't be on here as often for quite a while. Which sucks, frankly. This site, Salem Spectator, and Facebook are about my only online activities, and just trying to stay caught up on Days episodes (plus my other shows) is hard. But I will be checking in from time to time to drop my two cents in on stuff. I love this site and all of you too much to give this up! You guys are the best! ;D

Congratulations Rockford! I am so happy for you! All the best to you and yours!!
My older kids were always eager to help too. It was kind of nice having that extra help around when Layne was at work. Good luck!

Congratulations RF! Thank you so much for updating us on the new addition to your family and how you are all adjusting to the changes. I love how all you girls (you included) have "A" names! We'll miss you when you're not here, but we'll leave the light on, and you can put in your two cents and a bag of semicolons whenever you have the time. We'll be happy to see you.

Annabelle is taking well to helping me with Ava and also mimicing me feed Ava. It's the lack of mommy's full attention that's the problem. Well, that and mommy's hormones, tiredness, and impatience. lol!
Edit: Ignore those pj pants of mine....they are borrowed from my hubby. lol!

I'm usually modest and shy, but I will say....I do make pretty babies. Ava does look a lot like Annabelle did when she was a baby too.

You are a lucky lady RF! Your daughters are beautiful. You're not so bad yourself, even with hubby's pants. LOL.

Your daughters are both beautiful. Congrats on your gorgeous family. And hubby's pjs are usually the best anyway.

Oh, they are comfy pjs, but really...I call them the "beer wench" pants. I mean, she's straddling a beer bottle. Ugh. Something I so can't wear anywhere except inside my own house. But, luckily, they are starting to feel rather big on me again. I still am having a hard time finding clothes to fit me at this in-between stage before I can start actively exercising again (or have the energy to even think about exercising). Of course, he doesn't wear those pants anyway. His mother has a tendency to buy pjs for everyone at Christmas and those pants were the latest addition to pjs he never wears. lol!

Yay, for baby pics!! They are adorable! I can't tell about Ava yet, but your little Annabelle looks a lot like her mommy!
