Well, if kpatch goes by the poll she posted, there will be another chapter tomorrow so it's only a small Friday cliffhanger. ;D And knowing kpatch, I'm sure that Phillip is ok. Belle was probably the one that was shot. How dare she hurt kpatch's Phillip??  |

Does either Belle or Nicole get shot instead? Maybe someone just gets grazed and it scares the daylights out of everyone....

THE CABIN
All hell broke loose in the next few seconds. Chloe was pushed to the ground. Philip, who learned to never hesitate when taking down an enemy had hesitated this time. He was no sharpshooter, and his blurred vision kept him from firing his weapon for fear he would hit Chloe instead of Brady. But when Brady took a shot at him, instinct took over and he hit the ground. The bullet found another person who had entered the backyard. Brady had inadvertently shot Nicole.
Brady dropped his weapon and ran to Nicole. Philip yelled at Belle to dial 911, but Belle stood frozen as she could not absorb what just happened, that her brother shot Nicole! Philip grabbed Belle’s purse from her and took out her phone, hitting 911 and giving the operator the details as best he could.
As he spoke to the local police on the phone, he walked toward Chloe. He helped her up off the ground. She threw her arms around him, and when he finished the call he put both arms around her. Then, channeling his brother Bo, he picked up Brady’s weapon using a handkerchief.
The ambulance arrived in less than 10 minutes, and the emergency response team went to work on Nicole immediately. They loaded her in the ambulance and somehow, Brady talked his way into riding in the ambulance with Nicole.
Talk about awkward. Philip drove Belle and Chloe to Salem University Hospital, following closely behind the ambulance. Belle was not a happy camper sitting in the backseat and seething. Philip kept glancing at Chloe and asking if she was okay, and every so often he’d glance in his rearview mirror at Belle’s enraged visage.
Philip: Are you sure you’re okay?
Chloe: Yes. I’m sure.
Chloe looked at Philip and, for the first time, she noticed bruises near his ear. She touched the side of his head.
Chloe: What happened?
Philip: It’s nothing.
Belle: Ha! Why don’t you tell her the truth, Philip?
Chloe: The truth about what?
Philip: I said it’s nothing.
Belle: If you won’t tell her, I will. [Belle leaned forward.] Philip and Shawn got into a huge fight. Philip practically killed Shawn. They both wound up in the hospital. Shawn is still there.
Chloe [to Philip]: You fought with Shawn?
Belle: They fought over me. Didn’t you, Philip?
Chloe: Is that true?
Philip: Can we not talk about this right now?
Belle: Oh, it’s true alright.
Chloe: I see.
Philip: It wasn’t like that.
Belle: Isn’t that sweet? He’s making excuses to his mistress for trying to save his marriage.
Philip: There’s nothing to save, Belle. I know it, and you know it too.
Chloe: I don’t want to listen to this. Can you just drop me off somewhere? Anywhere?
Philip: We’ll be at the hospital in 10 minutes. I vote we drive the rest of the way in silence.
Chloe: I second that.
Belle: Sheesh.

 Wow!! Nicole?!?! I wasn't really watching during the "Last Blast" days (no pun intended), so my feelings about these characters come mostly from kpatch's stories. But DAYUM, Belle is a beeyotch!!!!! |

Poor Nicole. She had no idea what she could be walking into. I hope she's okay. Belle feels like Chloe is a hypocrite so I'm not surprised she acted that way. I wonder what drama awaits us at the hospital. Can't wait to find out.

Girl this story was so incredible I'm ready for MORE. You know I LOVE MY PHLOE and Belle is getting on my nerves trying to act so innocent she's just as wrong as Philip for cheating or maybe EVEN WORSE because she wants to judge everyone else like she's perfect. Phloe belong together get over it! I can't believe Brady shot Nicole but I am rooting for them to be together. I can't wait til found out who's the father of Belle's baby I'M PRAYING IT'S SHAWN! I don't want Belle and Philip to have any connections they need to be OVER!
