Did anyone else realize that her last air date was the other day when she had that conversation with Dario in the Pub? She just left Salem, never to be heard from/seen again. That is such BS. The least they could have done was let us know she went to Africa to be with Kayla/Steve...something like that. UGH! It makes me so mad they just let them disappear instead of writing them out.

That was it??? The least they could have done was to let her go upstairs .... to be with Nathan, Max, and Jeremy. And soon Philip. She would die happy. And pissed.

I agree. I didn't realize it either until I read something last night that said her last air date had been April 6 then I realized that there was no mention of it at all. Her last scene was that of telling Dario more about Melanie. Total, utter CRAP IMO

It makes me laugh that she literally just disappeared and no one has noticed or cared. I think we'll eventually hear from Caroline (if SHE'S ever seen again too) that Steph left town. Either that, or she'll stay in the "other room" for like a year, and then she'll be recast. Heck, they intentionally showed Nathan's last moment as him going "upstairs." I think it's classic Days and it cracks me up.

I'm not much a fan of the actress or the character (although I loved her scene in the wedding dress),but I agree.She definitely deserved better.

Why couldn't they make her just leave town after it all went to hell with Nathan? I realize that Nathan has had his exit written for him since May 2010, but they could have come up with something plausible for Stephanie. Like you guys mentioned...go be with her parents...grad school...Chelsea in London...something.

That's just crummy...both for the actress and those who watch. How can they just write off a character that's as well-established as Stephanie w/ no explanation? That's just silly.

I was not a big Stephanie fan but that exit was insulting to Shelley and her fans. Maybe she will be babysitting Sami's kids in the "other room or upstairs". She could have talked to Sami, Caroline, Aunt Adrienne or Aunt Hope at least. Going to visit her parents would make the most sense. Then she would not have been mentioned again unless they decide to recast the role down the road.
