Just wondering what everyone was reading here on MyHourglass.

Me personally I am reading Reunion by Kpatch, Undertow by Slyn, Past, Present and Future by SJW. Collateral Damage by Jwsel, and I am gonna get caught up on Jack and Sara by Blueyed. I am a fan of Andre's work as well. I am really hoping for more from FelineFlash and her Philip and Chloe story Being and also I would love to see more in Love Games by BradyDiva. I loved DancingDays Carrie and Rafe stories and hope she gets inspired again to write more soon!!

I tend to read all of the fan fics here. I really like it that currently we have a wide variety of characters and storylines to choose from. There's something for everyone who enjoys fan fics. I like it when the fan fic authors are able to get me interested in characters that I'm not a fan of on the show.

I'd love to read more of Being and Love Games too.

I like a variety of fics. Phloe fics are what got me hooked on fan fiction. I also enjoy a well written story that involves an ensemble cast.

I've really enjoyed fics that more fully explore something that was dropped or not fully explored on the show. Some great examples of that are Kpatch's After the Fall trilogy which explored the aftermath of Philip leaving town with Parker and later Chloe joining them in Chicago after her tragic fall into prostitution and Jwsel and esp13's Collateral Damage. Collateral shows us what could have been if Steve returned to Salem sooner while Kayla and Shane were involved.

I love seeing stories come to life that I hoped to see on TV....the adult Phloe love stories and the Carrie and Rafe romance and a triangle for Chloe/Philip/Melanie.

I like seeing favorite characters in a new scenario such as Jack reuniting with his first love in Jack and Sara.

We have talented writers here. It's fantastic that we have a great variety of fics for readers to enjoy. Thanks to all of our authors for sharing your stories with us.

I agree that we have some of the best authors in fandom here and I love the variety of styles and stories!

These days I am embarrassingly behind in my fanfic reading. I'm currently writing an epic of sorts and it is taking up all my fanfic attention. I look forward to catching up on all I'm missing.

I have so little time so I only seem to read kpatch, Andre & Undertow and of course any DD's...I read a lot of books & magazines that take up the little free time I have.

I really enjoy almost anything that is well written. There aren't specific characters that I look for, I enjoy most couplings and can enjoy them. I am not a fan of EJ but I really like the way that BradyDiva portrays him in Love Games.

I like stories that I can emotionally feel. Past Present and Future is a good one at that. So is Undertow.

Andre's stories are a little on the edgier side and tend to take on more of a supernatural tone. He also uses a lot of musical inspiration. They are usually a fun read.

Kpatch's stories are well written and they usually have intrigue and humor along with some romance which is always nice

The amount of Days fanfics I have read in my life is very small. I don't really read fanfics about soaps, not even my beloved GH - though I have read about a dozen featuring Jason and his pairings. Anyway, I tend not to read stories about the same characters I am writing, just so I won't be influenced by others takes on the characters. So that limits my reading here. ( except for Melanie. I will read anything Melanie related)

I am reading Past, Present, Future - I really enjoy how she writes Melanie, Maggie/Victor, Daniel, and Philip - such a warmth to that story. This is my go to fic at the moment. I stalk it like crazy for updates.

I have been reading Andre's stories, they are always fun. Any writer that can incorporate Grease2 in a story is tops on my list!

And I have read DD's Carrie and Rafe's stories - they remind me of Luis and Sheridan from Passions, I like that.

I have also read some of Kpatch's stories. She has a great sense of humor that always shines through. I haven't read any of her newer stuff (besides her Melanie fic and I think her Jack one) because they have been Phloe centered, and since I am writing a Phloe story as well....same with Being. But when I finish Undertow, those stories will definitely be on my must read list.

There was a series of Daniel and Chelsea fan fics on the CMT board that I absolutely loved. Written like poetry, sexy with such beautiful imagery. I should go and check and see if we still have them up over there. That writer was so talented, her stuff needs to be read.

Aw, thanks to those who mentioned "Being"! There will definitely be more, unless I happen to croak in anticipation of inspiration. But it's definitely not abandoned...it's just on a really slow simmer right now.
