SOW: Faux-Rafe Kills Fay!
Rafe 2 kills Fay and decides to keep his cold-blooded actions a secret from Stefano and EJ this week.
"It's not the first time he's tried," points out Galen Gering, referencing the push down the stairs. "He's blown away by the fact that she's still alive -- and a little irritated about it. She can identify him, so it's either him or her, and it certainly isn't going to be him. Still, this is the first person he's ever killed, and it's not an easy thing for him to do on any level."
While Rafe 2 holds a pillow over Fay's face, she fails her arms, struggling to survive. "Fay's tough," notes Gering. "She's not going out without a fight, that's for sure." Finally, Rafe smothers her and slips out of the room. The monitors go off and Carly and Lexie try to revive her, but without success. Fay is pronounced dead. Nicole and Taylor are led to believe that their mother died of a stroke, and they choose to forgo an autopsy, much to Rafe 2's relief.
Meanwhile, Rafe 2 chooses not to tell EJ and Stefano that he was responsible for Fay's death. "They would freak out," shares Gering. "At this stage of the game, he feels like if he tells them, they could become accomplices. It could be argued that they brought this monster to life."
At the loft, Sami is pushed to the breaking point when Rafe 2 asks Johnny to bring him a beer. Fed up with Rafe 2's bizarre behavior, Sami takes her children to her brother Eric's for a short break. "Rafe 2 is glad," Gering says. "He wants to make Sami happy that she left."

LOL I was wondering that too but Kazz mentioned that she thought it would be more offscreen as Alison Sweeney had a book tour during that time frame....BOOOOOO! I was really, really, hoping to get a glimpse of Eric. I have always loved him. LOL

Oh dang. Well at least we are seeing Sami has some support out the. Glad to have Eric at least mentioned. Who knows what the future will bring; we can still hope, right? I mean, we wanted Brady back and whomp, there he was!
