SOW: Faux-Rafe Kisses Nicole!
A day after murdering Fay, Rafe 2 puts the moves on Nicole -- and instantly regrets it!
"Rafe 2 really digs Nicole," points out Galen Gering.
Nicole, however, is haunted by her mother's warning that EJ has a secret. She overhears EJ confide to Stefano that he thinks Fay was trying to tell Nicole about Rafe. Determined to discover the truth, Nicole pays a surprise visit to Rafe 2!
But Nicole's timing couldn't be worse. Now that Sami has run off with the kids, Rafe 2 is in an amorous mood. "He's also aware that Nicole is an ex-porn star," notes Gering. "In his mind, she probably loves sex, is wild in bed, and wants to be with every man she meets. So the fact that she's alone with him in the loft can only mean one thing."
Before Nicole has a chance to question Rafe 2, he pulls her into a steamy kiss. Nicole immediately pushes him away and gives him a hard slap. "He's surprised," admits Gering. "He thought she was really into it."
Once Nicole douses Rafe 2's flame, he gets nervous that she might tell EJ. "EJ's the one holding the strings; he's got the cash," explains Gering. "Rafe 2 is so close to getting paid that he doesn't want to blow it over something he did impulsively."
As for Nicole, she starts to "put two and two together," says portrayer Arianne Zucker. "She is wondering if EJ is involved with the death of Fay, because he didn't want her moving in at first. And then why is Rafe involved? Did EJ somehow cause his car accident? How does this all tie together? Her mother is dead and she's not going to mess around. She's on it."
