This story features characters from the Last Blast era with a bit of a twist. In this version, Brady and Chloe are married and living in Vienna, Philip and Belle are still married to each other, and Mimi and Shawn have never been married to each other. All the graduates converge on Salem in 2010 for their 8th annual high school reunion.

SALEM INN, January 2010

Chloe stepped off the elevator on the 6th floor and checked the room number on her key card. An arrow on the wall told her which direction to go. As she walked down the hallway, a hotel room door opened and a familiar face emerged.

Chloe: Belle!
Belle: Chloe!
The women hugged each other warmly.
Chloe: You look fantastic.
Belle: So do you. Hey, where’s my big brother?
Chloe: Ah. Brady’s taking a later flight. He had some business back in Vienna and he couldn’t get away, so I flew on ahead.
Belle: But he’s still coming, right? You’re sure.
Chloe: He promised.
Belle: I hope he’s not delayed because of this weather. I’m really anxious to see him.
Chloe: I know he was looking forward to seeing you too. We’ve been talking about doing this for years.
Belle: I know. Almost eight years.
Chloe: How weird is it to have the reunion in January?
Belle: Tell me about it! But the reunion committee said we’d get a higher turnout because there’s no holidays to compete with, and they were right. This is the first time the whole gang was able to come to the annual reunion at the same time. I kind of like them holding the reunion for every graduating class every year.
Chloe: Me too. I can’t wait! Hey, is Philip inside? I want to say hi.
Belle: Oh. Yes, he’s ... on the phone.
Chloe: Oh. ... Hmmm, why did you and Philip get a hotel room? You guys live here in Salem.
Belle: Um ...
Just then, Shawn came out of the same room Belle was in.
Chloe: Shawn?
Shawn: Oh. Hey. Hi Chloe.
He greeted Chloe with a hug.
Chloe: This is weird. What are you ... uh ... nevermind. I’d better go find my room. See you later.
Chloe was clearly uncomfortable with what she just witnessed. Belle was married to Philip, but it didn't take a lot of imagination to figure out why Shawn and Belle would be in a hotel room together. Chloe continued down the hallway as quickly as she could. She found her room, unlocked the door and let herself in. Not a minute later, there was a knock on her door. She opened it and Belle stepped inside.
Belle: We need to talk.
