I must have missed this mystery romance stuff...none of it is ringing any bells. Do you mean like the John and his ever changing identity stories? I think I just hate that word romance in general...gives me flashes of candlelight and serenades...(UGH) I am much more a fan of a heated argument that leads to a slap and ends with a kiss....the whole Rhett and Scarlett thing.  |

But they aren't even doing that right now. Sami and EJ is the closest thing but right now that is so messed up with the whole Rafe and Lucas thing that I can't even get into it.

Oh I agree...they don't even have enough people on cast to tell an adequate story. I have no clue how they are going to work this stuff all out. Well I have some ideas, but until they pay me, I'm not sharing! Is Lucas even in it? I thought it was Rafe vs EJ for Sami. |

Another random thought....I think the only people on Days that ever get slapped are EJ and poor departed Philip. No one else inspires that much passion in women I guess.
Wait I think Kate hit Ian and Stefano...but that wasn't a common occurrence.

Bo and Hope, Bo and Carly, Shane and Kim, Steve and Kayla had stories involving adventures outside of Salem. Stefano wasn't always involved either.

Well those are all golden oldies...LOL No wonder they are not coming to mind. I didn't like those stories on Days back then...like supermarket romance novels. Either the people were too old, not hot enough, no real bad boys, I don't know, something was off. I just couldn't get into any of those couples. I loved Bo and Carly this last go round though.

I suspect they added the scenes with Stefano into what had already been filmed. I read somewhere that Mar/Dar had planned to bring him back too. Not sure if that's true or not. I wonder if his return will coincide with another return that's coming up.
