Well they had to let him go in a way that didn't involve him with any building story. So minimal contact and scenes is the only way. Everyone else is moving onto to the new, except Chloe, who will move once Jay is gone.

Oh that's right. It's your birthday PA. Well that stinks. I mean Jay leaving on your birthday. I hope the pain is not too much to bear.

I was going to ask you to make some cupcakes for the Pity Party, but I wouldn't want you to bake for your own birthday. So maybe you can bake them early and bring them over the weekend, okay? Just in case my time freeze experiments don't pan out.

Jay Kenneth Johnson will make his Salem departure on April 20th. "I want to thank the fans for continuing to watch and for following me from my first stint here onto the other shows I've done and back to here," he says. "I hope they keep an eye out for me in the future."
