John annoyed me today when he was telling the paramedics that Madison was dead. He referred to her as "that woman" as if she was a nothing. I mean, this was going to be his future daughter in law. And he's calling her "that woman"?

I thought the same thing, Trey. John was just as dispassionate today as Marlena was yesterday.
Not only that, but after all the hideous things Ian said and did, John was still trying to save his life? Let him get buried under the rubble. It would serve him right.

I didn't really notice. Maybe I was just happy that Madison was dead and Ian was upset.

Just shows why John and Marlena deserve each other.

I didn't hear him say that, but I was a little shocked he was so angry at Ian about Brady instead of really upset she was dead. I think everyone was in a state of some shock!
I blame the writers for not realizing how close she was to being his daughter in law.

John has no idea where his son is or if he's hurt or even dead. So that's probably his top priority. Then he hears Ian threatening Brady. I don't blame him for being angry.

I get him being angry at Ian, and worried for Brady.
But, it seemed very heartless to refer to Madison as "that woman". IDK, it just rubbed me the wrong way.
