LAKE HOUSE, MASTER BEDROOM
After making love that morning, Chloe went to take care of Wesley, while Philip listened to his voicemail. He then dialed Dr. Bader’s phone number.
Philip: Karen, it’s Philip Kiriakis. I know what you’re going to say, but why don’t you go ahead and tell me anyway. Dr. Bader [on the phone]: You can breathe easy, Philip. Chloe’s DNA matches Wesley’s. Chloe returned to the bedroom and saw Philip sitting on the edge of the bed shirtless, with his back toward her. She crawled onto the bed and put her arms around him from behind, kissing his shoulders and neck and running her fingernails up and down his chest. He tilted his head to one side, trying not to laugh. Philip: I’m on the phone. Chloe: Who are you talking to? Philip: Dr. Bader. Chloe: Dr. Bader? Let me talk to her. Philip handed Chloe the phone. Chloe: Hi Dr. Bader. I’m great. I have a question. So, how often is it okay for a pregnant woman to have sex? Philip’s eyes widened as he looked at Chloe. He was vaguely surprised, yet incredibly turned on by the fact she was asking the doctor that question. Chloe: Really? No, that sounds fine. I will. You take care too. Bye. Chloe clicked the “end call” icon and handed Philip his phone. Tossing the phone aside, he pushed her back on the bed and held her down by her wrists, pretending to be mad. Philip: What the hell was that about? Chloe giggled. Chloe: Oh Philip, don’t be a prude. She gets questions like that all the time. She knows pregnant women have sex. They wouldn’t be pregnant otherwise. Philip started laughing. Philip: So what did she say? How often? Chloe: As often as I’d like. Philip: And ... how often do you like? Chloe: Often. Very often.

I'm pretty sure that if I were married to Philip, I'd want to have sex all the time too. Certainly can't blame the girl for that one.

I completely agree DD.
I'm glad the results confirmed that she's the real Chloe.

THE LAKE HOUSE ONE MORNING, TWO MONTHS LATER
Chloe had just stepped out of the shower and Philip was getting ready for work.
Philip: Madame Butterfly. Chloe: What??? Philip: The aria you were singing in the shower. Madame Butterfly. Chloe: That’s right. I’m impressed. Philip: I’m a slow learner, but I’m getting there. Chloe: Wait, let me do that. It’s my job, remember? Chloe tied Philip’s tie for him as he chuckled and placed his hands on her hips. Philip: What would I do without you? Chloe: Well, you’d tie your own ties, for one thing. Philip’s expression turned serious. Philip: I wouldn’t do well without you, Chloe. That much I know. I’ve lived through it, and I don’t want to do it again. Chloe: And you won’t have to. Ever again. Chloe put her hand on the back of his neck and sweetly kissed Philip’s lips. His arms encircled her. Philip: We’ve come a long way, baby. You know what’s amazing? Chloe: Mmm, what? He gently pushed her back so he could look at her face. He smiled and held her cheek in his palm. Philip: You’re still the same incredible person I first fell in love with. Chloe: Aw, Philip. Philip: You are. You have the same heart, the same mind, the same spirit, the same dreams. Like opera. You knew you wanted to sing opera before I ever met you. Chloe: And you knew you wanted to run an international corporation .... well, maybe not. They both chuckled. Philip: When I was a kid, I just wanted to win whatever sport I happened to be playing. Baseball, basketball, football. And then I met you. And I wanted to win you. It was all I wanted. Chloe: I see. Just another prize for the Philip Kiriakis trophy case. Chloe started to walk away in mock indignation but Philip caught her wrist and pulled her close. Philip: You know you’re no prize. Chloe: What??? Philip: That’s not what I meant. You know what I mean. You’re not a trophy to me. You’re everything to me. You’re all I’ve ever wanted, and I never take us for granted. I thank God every day that you’re sharing your life with me. Chloe: Oh Philip, I love you so much. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be than right here with you. You complete me, you know that? Philip: That’s good. It means my work here is done. Chloe laughed and Philip kissed her. Chloe: Oh it’s far from done, soldier. You’ve got a lot more to do. Like the porch light for example. Philip: Damn, I keep forgetting. But first ... I have something else I need to do. Philip grabbed his jacket and slipped it on. He kissed Chloe’s cheek. Philip: See you later. Chloe: What? Wait. Where are you going? Philip: Can’t tell you. Sorry. Chloe: Philip! No secrets, remember? Philip: It’s not a secret. It’s a surprise. Chloe: You know I hate surprises, but ... Will I like it? Philip: I’m counting on it. Philip headed downstairs and Chloe called after him. Chloe: Don’t forget to replace the porch light. Philip: I’m on it. Chloe: That’s what you said a week ago. Philip: Nag nag nag.
