from daytime royalty daytimeroyaltyonline.com/topic/8703950/1/Nelson Branco Soap Uncensored: Is Eileen back?Nelson's article has been posted. Both Eileen and Greg are mentioned as coming to Days........ DAYS OF OUR LIVES, NBC/GLOBAL — Davidson’s Awkward Sony Deal To Reprise DAYS Roles Exposed! Greg Vaughn Cast as Eric Brady! Gay-less DAYS Ahead! • Eric Brady, Sami’s good twin, is finally headed back to Salem. Sources inform UNCENSORED that Greg Vaughn has nabbed the coveted role. Kyle Lowder, who played Brady on DAYS, pitched himself but the show thought it was too confusing for the audience to have Eric Martsolf—Brady’s current portrayer on the canvas. Yet it’s OK to have Josh Taylor’s Chris K play Roman Brady? Speaking of Vaughn and Sweeney, the duo will be working together a lot in the near future. According to DIGEST, the on-screen siblings will be teaming up for a Hallmark movie, which has begun production. "Finally signed, sealed & delivered! Starring in a new Hallmark Movie starting Wednesday opposite my girl @ali_Sweeney!! Gonna be great fun!" the former GH actor tweeted. • Whoohoo: Eileen Davidson is indeed joining DAYS as Kristen and Susan, report my moles. But the story behind the worst-kept secret in daytime is more fascinating. Apparently, Sony’s Steve Kent brought Davidson into his office and said, “I have good news and I have bad news. The bad news is that you’re leaving Y&R because DAYS really wants and needs you.” At first, Sony wanted Davidson on both DAYS and Y&R. However, sources say that the Y&R writing team refused to share Davidson with DAYS and forced Sony to make a decision ultimately leading to her Y&R firing. But those sneaky Y&R writers lied to Davidson’s face when she asked why she couldn’t pull double duty on both Sony serials. The scribes insisted it was Sony’s decision, which led to the actress’s infamous tweet about learning she was fired (which now makes sense since we all knew she was merely being transplanted to DAYS). Needless to say Davidson is not a happy camper with the Y&R brass. Get in line, sweetie! • Gay-less DAYS: Several sources attest that DAYS will be throwing Will and his homosexuality on the backburner despite Chandler Massey’s Emmy win and the show’s Best Writing Emmy. Too bad because Massey is expected to leave the serial when his contract expires.

Wow. That's a lot of crappy news in one article. Kyle as Eric would have been awesomely hilarious and I'm pretty sure the audience would've figured it out. Eileen back as Susan sounds promising, but the way it all went down is pretty crappy. And now Will won't be gay?!? How cowardly of TPTB. I'm super disappointed.

I am guessing he still will be gay, they just won't talk about it and we won't see Will all that much which is a crying shame.

Emmy winning storyline and they put it on the back-burner. SMH. Typical.

Pretty much. Feels like they are trying to get canceled.

I was going to graciously remain silent in regards to Nelson but I don't like see anyone getting disappointed over anything he says when I promise you that everything other than what has already been widely reported/speculated by many other sources (meaning the GV news and ED prediction) should be taken with truckloads and truckloads of salt.

Pretty much. Feels like they are trying to get canceled. They already tried that with the reboot.

I'm not the emmy for Will was about the gay story line.. He was the best about the grief sex storyline. I would have been fine w/Kyle as Eric. They had Judi Evans come back as Bonnie & Adrienne almost back to back. They also had Wayne Northrup back in a different role.

It was like a mess of news all in one article. I would have really loved Kyle back as Eric and it would have been hystercial (especially knowing the history between Ari & Kyle!) I feel bad that Eileen was let go from Y&R but at least she is back with us on DAYS. It was just a really crappy way to get her back, ITA! What a cop out DAYS -- bowing out out the WilSon (Sonny and Will) storyline BOO ON YOU! It's 2012 get with the times, will you. TFP!

It's a mess alright but I sure wouldn't describe it as "news".

Like some, I take Nelson Branco news with a grain of salt.
That said, oh God am I ever glad I won't be watching this show after September! Something tells me this isn't going to end well with Eileen (thanks for screwing this up beyond belief, Sony), and if I'm Chandler I bolt as soon as my contract is up.
I'm starting to think Peter, Renee and Molly were the smart ones. They got out while the getting was good. lol

Should Nelson be believed? I am honestly not sure what to believe anymore about what any sources say....I am trying to understand why Days would make such stupid asinine moves if all this is true...
