How did you get cast in the role of Silvio? And what can you tell us about your character/storyline?
I auditioned for Days of our Lives the first time back when I was in LA. The casting director really took a liking to me. I didn’t get that role but she has been trying to get me on the show ever since. So when the role of Silvio came up, she contacted my agents and asked me to put myself on tape. I did, she showed the tape to the producers and they hired me from that tape. I can’t really tell you much about the storyline or my character except that I carry a gun - no, I’m not in law enforcement – and there’s a lot of action plus it was a lot of fun! |

Is Silvio somehow related to the man/family that made the coin in the egg? Is he Yvette's son/grandson?
That's the first thing I thought (based on his name alone). Of course, he could just be a hitman for hire. But who hired him?

Silvio is supposed to be a part of the Olympic cliffhanger storyline. The actor tweeted a picture of one of his scripts a few weeks ago with a date on it for an episode that is supposed to air after the Olympics. The picture has been removed from twitter but on the script there was a scene that takes place at the Brady Pub with some people being injured and treated for injuries. A couple of the characters that were listed were Melanie and Justin. I can't remember who else was listed but it had at least 10 characters listed for this scene. It didn't say who the injured people were but there was 3 of them.

It's usually when the ratings are the lowest and hopefully they can pick up some of the demos and HH. After some of the stuff they have been showing lately, we need something good.
