If the storyline is good then I'm okay with it. I wonder how the pregnancy will factor into the story.

There are rumors that Austin Peck might be coming back with her as Austin. I really don't want to see Austin Peck back. I couldn't stand watching him when he was on before and I think that Patrick Muldroon is a lot better actor than him and has way more chemistry with CC than AP.

If the goal is to make Austin Reed look as dumb as possible, then bringing Austin Peck back will accomplish that goal. Personally, I think that would be a HUGE mistake. If they're going to bring Austin Reed back, it should be Patrick.

I'm glad that Christie Clark might be returning as Carrie, but I am not happy that Austin Peck might return as Austin. I've never really liked him as an actor or person. I lost a lot of respect for him when I met him. Wonder why they won't ask Patrick Muldoon to come back as Austin??

I am not happy she's returning. i hope it's only short-term. To me, she's a mediocre character and she and Rafe are a worse than mediocre couple. I don't see this as a smart decision by the new team who are supposed to be increasing ratings. Rafe/Carrie/Austin are not going to do it.
Nothing personal against the actress but I'm disappointed.

I wouldn't get too worked up either way just yet. Sometimes what comes out through twitter turns out to be true, sometimes it doesn't. We'll know for sure when/if it gets confirmed by other sources. Lots of changes happening lately. Christie herself recently confirmed that there were no plans to bring her back. However, it could have changed since then and they've decided to bring her back after all ... and they could change their minds again before she ever gets back to the studio.
Personally, I could go either way about Christie returning. I'm not a Carrie fan but if it keeps anyone in Burbank from entertaining the insane notion of trying to force Sami into the Marlena Junior role again, I'm all for having Carrie in Salem so long as I get to keep the real Sami in Salem too. I do NOT however want Austin Peck back in any role on any show that I'm watching!!!! He's an awful actor! I've never liked any character that he's played and Patrick Muldoon has managed to make Austin Reed an enjoyable charcter for me for the first time in 20 years!

I am happy that she might be coming back, but I don't like her with Rafe. She should be with Austin. I have always liked the character Carrie and I hope she comes back with Patrick Muldoon and not Austin Peck

CI do NOT however want Austin Peck back in any role on any show that I'm watching!!!! You said it. The guy couldn't remember lines and it was obvious when he was reading from cue cards. Abysmal! I don't want Carrie and Rafe at all. Snooze-fest there. If she comes back, I'd rather see Patrick Muldoon come back with her and they finally have a baby. |
