Johnny is tossing and turning. He says no Joy we shouldn't do this as Chanel looks perturbed.
Johnny feels like he's been through a meat grinder. Chanel brought crackers and ginger ale. She wants to know what he was dreaming about. What should he and Joy not do?
Chanel pushes about the dream. Johnny lies about directing Joy in a scene and disagreeing about her acting choices. Chanel thinks it's weird for him to dream about that.
Chanel tells Johnny about the tainted cupcakes and the handful of people who got sick.
Hattie is the number one suspect. Johnny gets up. He wants to go to the hospital. Chanel tells him that Abe was tested and its non fatal poison. Johnny will survive. She hopes she can say the same for her bakery.
Johnny notes the similarity to the Biscuit fiasco. She thinks she could be shut down again. She isn't even sure if they were her cupcakes. Someone could have ordered plain ones and tainted them. Johnny tells her she needs to find out. She goes. He looks guilty.
Johnny, alone, tells himself he has to tell Chanel the truth.

Good grief. Johnny is in for a world of pain.

It would be better if Johnny tells Chanel before she overhears Alex and Joy whispering about it, but you just know that won't happen.

I really wish that Johnny would’ve told Chanel but we knew that that wasn’t going to happen. This line keeps getting harder and harder for Johnny to keep and it’s going to get worse for him and Chanel.
