Kayla comes into the Pub and sees Roman eating the cupcake. He says that it's Kate's, someone sent it to celebrate Body & Soul but he doesn't know who. He's sorr he didn't offer Kayla any.
Kayla says she doesn't want any. Roman deserves a treat for being Kate's biggest cheerleader. Roman asks if she watched the premiere. She didn't because she was at the hospital with Sarah. Roman asks if Sarah had a setback. Kayla says no, it's the opposite, and tell shim about Rolf.
Roman finishes eating the cupcake and cheers about how good it is. However, a second later he begins slurring his speech and Kayla says he looks green around the gills. Roman says you know what, I am sick. He runs to the bathroom.
Later, Roman is in the hospital and Kate comes to the room. Roman says Kayla overreacted and insisted on admitting him but he's fine. Kate asks if it could be food poisoning. Roman says all he ate is the cupcake. Kate says, "Oh my." She tells Roman and Kayla that Abe also got sick after eating the cupcake.
Kate, Roman, and Kayla discuss this development. They hope someone isn't trying to mess with Chanel's business again. Kate says she needs to alert the cast not to eat the cupcakes and try to find out where they came from. She goes.
Kayla takes blood and says they will get to the bottom of what's in Roman's system.
Meanwhile, Kate talks to Bonnie, who says she's glad she talked Alex out of eating the cupcake and had a bad feeling about it.

But they established yesterday that they were not Sweet Bits cupcakes?
Way to go Kayla spilling all of Sarah's confidential stuff yet again...!
