EJ advises Johnny to shake off his guilt over cheating on Chanel with Joy. Johnny says Joy came over for dinner last night and it was the most uncomfortable meal of his life. He wants to confess to Chanel. EJ talks him out of it but not before Chanel comes in wanting to know what they’re talking about. EJ comes up with a cover story about being at odds with her mother over a case he refused to prosecute, but not to worry.
Joy arrives because Chanel invited her to watch the show together. EJ asks if he can have one of the cupcakes. Johnny eats the other one.
After watching, Joy tells them they were great. She mentions she never met the actress who played Charlemagne. They tell her about Hattie Adams and the curse. Joy says she has to go and leaves quickly. Chanel thinks that was kind of weird. She left so abruptly. She asks Johnny to go check on her.
In the foyer, Johnny is upset that Joy came over. This was too awkward. She claims she couldn’t say no. She makes Johnny promise again that he won’t tell Chanel.
Johnny returns to Chanel who’s looking over a script and says Arrow should have been honest with Faith from the beginning. The coverup is worse than the crime.

EJ advising anybody on their love life is a no.
Hattie anvil dropped in this scene. Gee, wonder who sent the tainted cupcakes? Is it too much to hope the entire cast is ill and off screen for months while they dump this story?

Too many BLABBING about this Joy/Johnny thing. Almost got caught today.
Johnny looks like he needs to come up for air.
Hattie MUST have sent those cupcakes.
