Holly flounces into the living room to have an extended flashback of Tate telling her he slept with Sophia. Maggie comes in. She has good news. Kristen agreed to give Sarah the serum.


Holly thought Kristen was only giving up the serum for Titan. Maggie is happy to report that Titan is still in Xander’s control. Brady convinced Kristen to give it up out of the goodness of her heart. Holly didn’t know Kristen had a heart. Maggie reports that Xander and Sarah are at the hospital right now looking into how to administer the serum.


Holly is so happy for Sarah, she prays it works. Maggie wants an update on Holly’s life. Holly doesn’t want to bring things down. It has been hard after her break up with Tate. Maggie knows she cared about him a lot. Holly recaps breaking into Brady’s room and thinking an apology would fix everything. She spits out Sophia’s name as the obstacle that stopped it all.


Maggie thinks it is honourable that Tate didn’t want to hurt Sophia, she is sad that Holly is hurt. She gets a text and needs to run to the hospital. She will check in with Holly later.


Henderson lets Tate in. He tells her his plans for Sophia were canned. They aren’t together anymore.


Holly repeats it. Tate says he made a big mistake. He should have been more honest with Sophia and himself. He made a big mistake with Holly too. When she came to him and said she wanted to get back together, every part of him wanted to say yes but his head and heart went in opposite directions and he listened to his head. Holly says so he stayed with Sophia cause they slept together. Tate feels terrible for hurting her, but he should have known it wouldn’t work, cause all he has ever wanted is Holly. He smashes their faces together.

I kind of hope that Holly walks away from Tate, too... as nice of a guy Tate is, he needs to be alone to sort out his thoughts instead of hopping from one girl to another.

I'm glad they are back together. Their feelings for each other are obvious. Tate was trying to be a good guy and it backfired. I don't fault him for that.

But now what? They have no conflict and they aren't very exciting.

Archie is back with Betty after his fallout with Veronica.

This whole thing still feels like two chicks lusting after their "teacher." Who isn't very bright.

I feel like Tate badly needs a recast

I actually find Sophia more interesting. Tate and Holly are boring and I can't see where they're going as a couple.

As my daughter said, "This is two teenage girls fighting over a mediocre guy." I feel like that covers it.
