Paulina is bellowing down the phone at EJ. She splutters out something about fake Abigail and he is to be in her office first thing in the morning. Then she vanishes from this episode. Kristen slinks in and asks why EJ let the imposter go.


EJ assures her that he has the whole Cat Greene situation covered. Kristen can’t believe anybody bought that she was Abby, she new she was a phony the first time she saw her. EJ praises her detective skills and tells her he just saw an ad in the paper from the Salem PD looking for help. Kristen says she is very happy in her current position. EJ has heard she might not hold it for long. He heard all about her botching the Titan takeover. He wants the lowdown on how she screwed that up.


Kristen says she didn’t botch up anything. There was an unexpected complication. Philip turned up and threatened to tie up the deal in the court, so she decided it wasn’t worth the trouble and gave Sarah the serum no strings attached. EJ wonders why she would do that; even if Xander couldn’t deliver his father’s company he would pay through the nose for a chance for Sarah to walk again. Why would she give away her advantage? Kristen says she did it for love. EJ sighs and takes a drink.


EJ wants to understand. Kristen gave away the cure because Brady asked her to and she got nothing in return. Kristen says of course she got something in return: Brady said that the only way for them to get back together was to give Sarah the cure. EJ says that it is the lawyer in him, but he wants to be clear on the language of the deal. If you can even call it a deal. Is EJ correct in assuming that Brady offered no guarantees that he would enter into a romantic relationship? Kristen asks what guarantee should she have asked for? A signature in blood. EJ says at the very least a guarantee of a relationship. Brady dangled a carrot and she gave up everything to chase after it. She failed Negotiating101. She gave away the cure and ended up with nothing. Kristen looks sad as she realizes he is right.


Kristen wants Professor EJ to explain Negotiating 101 to her. EJ says it is quite elementary, my dear Kristen (lol): She doesn’t give away her end of the deal unless she gets something in return. Brady has given her no indication that their relationship will ever happen. Kristen thinks he is being cynical and is certain that he will be proven wrong. She paws at EJ’s face for a bit and mocks his negotiating that has got him nowhere with Sami and Nicole. EJ says she has deluded herself into thinking Brady will get back with her. Now he got what he wants he will be shocked if Brady ever shows his face here again. And on cue, here is dumb oaf Brady. Kristen smirks and smirks some more.


EJ gets a call. It is now Unseen Paulina. He runs out. Kristen is pleased to see Brady. She tells him she gave Sarah the notes from Rolf. Brady is very impressed at her doing the right thing. He gives her a bracelet in a bag. Kristen giggles like a school girl and asks if it is for her. Brady says no, it’s Rachel’s friendship bracelet. He wanted to return it. He wants Kristen to understand something: He is grateful to her for what she is doing for Sarah, but nothing has changed between them. He is making no promises. He tells her to tell Rachel he loves her and takes off. EJ sneaks back in and asks how it went. Let him guess: Brady says that since Kristen has given up the serum he has realized that Kristen is the love of his life and he can’t live without her. “Yum yum yum am I right?” He knows Brady said no such thing. Kristen glares daggers at him.

Always nice to see Kristen eat it raw. EJ was just stating facts, and it was sort of funny when Kristen thought Brady came bearing a gift but instead just blew her off like a gnat.

But a boiled Kristen is dangerous proposition. She might even undercut Sarah's "therapy." Who knows how she will lash out.

And if she ever gets wind Ava and Brady are chummy ( with the possibility of more) she will definetly blow her top.
