I just had to share this with everyone. You all have been so gracious the last year and a half. I have struggled with multiple family deaths, a marriage that has been.........well to be nice about it........rocky, frustration, stress, anger, and mild depression. Without the support & prayers from y'all, I don't know how I would have gotten through it. Since most of my postings had been bad news and downers, I thought I would share some good with everyone.... I have felt that 2011 would be a new start for me and so many things would be better in my life. Today marked a new beginning and a change in the direction for the better for me. I have been able to pay off some college expenses & loans finally and today I finalized the paperwork and bought.....................a NEW TRUCK!!!!! I know to some, it's not much, but in all the vehicles that I've ever owned, they have always been at least 8 years old when I have gotten them, over 70,000 miles on it and in most cases previously wrecked. The truck I got today is only a year old and has 30,000 miles on it. I was so excited to find something similar to what I was looking for that was in my price range. My husband of course was a JA (donkey for those who don't know what JA is) but did go and sign the papers as co-owner since my income wasn't enough to offset the balance on our mortgage. Of course his attitude aggravated me but I feel better about hauling the kids around in a truck that I know is dependable and won't leave us stranded on the side of the road. THANK YOU JESUS!!! I know that you made this possible and the support of my friends & family here made getting through 2010 much easier. Thanks to all of you!! Much love! Oh Brandi, I am so happy to see you so happy. Congratulations. There is nothing like driving a reliable vehicle, especially when you have children to drive around.
I hope this is the start of only good things for you and that things will be going your way from here on out.

I agree with jkjpatch. I have seen your posts on another board as well an it is nice to hear that things are looking up! Congratulations on the new truck! I am in the process of selling my car for a new SUV so I know how you feel about having something nice, good and reliable to drive your children around in! **Here's to things getting better!!  |

Thanks kpatch!! The peace of mind is definately something I haven't felt in a while and it's a welcome feeling I have to admit tho, I can't quit peeking out the window to make sure it's really there and I'm not dreaming.... Thanks ghoulgirl!! Good luck with finding your next ride!!! |

Congrats on the new truck!!!! I hate the buying process, but I love driving off in a new car. Always feels fantastic! I hope this is the start of better things for you. If you can focus on the love and good wishes we are all sending you, I'm sure you can make it through anything. Keep it up girl!!!
