Gabi and Javi have lunch in the square. Javi hopes to be a Dimera executive someday. He says that every morning, he is manifesting executiveness with affirmations taped to the bathroom mirror. Gabi says she also needs him to manifest picking up her dry cleaning and getting her car an oil change. She gives him a punch card for the Lube Spot. (Javi smirks at the name.) Gabi laments her financial situation with all the lawyer bills and the divorce. She mourns the loss of a first-class trip to Dubai for her and her Gabi Chic team, which fell through.

Leo texts Javi, asking for his best Spanish pickup line. Gabi asks what he's looking at that has him smiling. Javi lies. He's just taking notes in the hopes of being a good assistant to her. Also, he's grateful for the gig, but he didn't realize he was just going to be her errand boy. Gabi promises he'll be more than that. She needs him to redo her file system and purge the office of any traces of psycho Connie.

Javi texts back to Leo, “Disculpame, pero creo que me debes un trago.” In English, "Excuse me, but I think you owe me a drink."

Gabi also needs him to get her divorce papers to the courthouse.

Javi leaves. EJ shows up. Gabi tells him to get lost. EJ assumes she's upset because Stefan left him that letter and not her. She accuses him of just trying to rub it in and says he's acting like a child. EJ swears he isn't, but she is. Accusing him of ruining her marriage was irrational since she told him that he wanted the divorce as much as Stefan.

Gabi still insists it was all his fault. EJ reminds her that he only slept with her because she seduced him. Gabi says he should have said no. The only reason he slept with her was to stick it to Stefan.

EJ: Here are the facts, my dear. You were the married one. You were the one who initiated things with me. And just to be clear, you were screaming from the rooftops that you were through with Stefan.
Gabi: But you knew. You knew I wasn't.
EJ: Wasn't what?
Gabi: In my right mind.
EJ: Gabi, serious question. But when are you in your right mind?
Gabi: Screw you, EJ.
EJ: I think you've already checked that one off the list.

She still insists that EJ should have stopped it. EJ tells her to blame him if it makes her feel better. He ruined her marriage, but she ruined his marriage by shooting her mouth off at that press conference. So let's consider it even.

EJ admits there was a part of him that relished getting under Stefan's skin with their tryst, and that he pushed Stefan to file for divorce because he'd never get those salacious images out of his head. So fine, he'll take credit for her stupid little divorce, but dammit, she and Stefan both deserve it for all the miserable things they've done to him.

EJ: I loved doing it. I loved seeing my brother cuckolded just as much as I loved seeing your poor little heart broken. And derived great satisfaction from all of it, in fact.

Gabi slaps him. EJ says he could have an officer here in minutes to have her arrested for assaulting the District Attorney.

Gabi: Well, I ought to leave a mark then, you think.

She goes to hit him again, but EJ grabs her arm to stop her.

JJ comes up behind them, yelling for EJ to get his hands off her.

Gabi is conveniently skipping her role in all of this. Well the good news is it doesn't look like they will ever hook up again which is fine by me.

JJ and Gabi I am drawing a blank on their history if there ever was one.

Lani actually moved in on a few of gabis boyfriends but yea Gabi also helped JJ cope with accidentally shooting Theo and he wanted to end his own life
They were a good couple until the writers made her annoying
She made JJ somewhat tolerable for someone like me who’s not a fan
I doubt this actress will be able to accomplish this though she’s not that great

I actually thought JJ and Gabi were well suited at one point.

Gabi never really accepts her part in any wrong doing... she's definitely spiraling. I'm so grateful to Ivan for taking Stefan away so that we don't have to deal with another round of these two (at least for a while). Maybe Gabi can grow up.

Looks like Gabi hired Javi to serve as her FETCH assistant.

I liked JJ and Gabi (if Paige is really dead). It's why I have them as a couple in my fanfic The Rest of Our Lives.

I know this might offend some, but my daughter just watched these scenes and said JJ reminded her of a mean Chihuahua barking out our German Shepherd. JJ seemed irrationally angry while EJ just stared down at him practically rolling his eyes. It made me laugh.
