In the police station’s “guest office,” both EJ and Chad are sporting fade ‘dos. EJ wants to know why Chad would make an insane request like wanting Cat Greene freed. EJ reminds Chad about all the things Cat did to him. Chad admits Clyde asked him to get Cat freed in exchange for telling Chad where Abigail’s remains are.
EJ wonders why Clyde would care about Cat. Chad says he wants her head on a plate but he’s not going to give Clyde what he wants. He won’t let Clyde kill her but he will use her to get what he wants. The plan is to make Clyde think he’s willing to make the trade.
EJ comes back after arranging Cat’s release. He’s not happy. He thinks it’s dangerous. Paulina will demand his head on a platter when she hears what he’s done. But Chad’s his brother. He cautions Chad to be careful.

Why did they have to meet at the police station? They are brothers. They could meet at the house or park or pub or anywhere. Seemed awkward.
