Steve comes to the pub and wants to celebrate Vivian being locked up. He and Roman talk over a cup of coffee. Steve’s worried about Chad. Weston called Chad. They don’t know what he wanted. Steve presumes it has to do with Abigail’s remains. Steve realizes that Clyde may have heard Steve’s voice and had to cover.
Steve gets an alert saying EJ dropped all charges against Cat. He thinks it’s playing out exactly the way Clyde wants it to.

I'd think Roman and Steve have better things to talk about.
Bo was Steve's best friend. When Bo died, John became Steve's best friend. I think Roman may be Steve's consolation prize.
