Holly admits to Sophia she apologized to Tate and told him she wants to get back together. Sophia asks if Tate is taking her back. Holly says she gave Tate time to process everything. Sophia says there’s something else you should know. She and Tate have gotten really close. She’s about to tell her about the hookup but her mom phones her. Holly leaves.

I thought Sophia would spill the beans. A touch of consciousness or perhaps the fear of a broken nose.

Nope Holly got 'saved by the bell' when the phone rings. If the phone hadn't rung, I feel pretty sure that Sophia would have said something.
