Kate breaks in and asks Vivian what she is doing in her son's room. Vivian corrects, her son.

Kate slams the door. They bicker about whose son Philip is for a bit. Vivian is bored with the topic. Kate goes to find Philip and warns Vivian to stay away from him. Vivian says she can't do that: she and Philip are a package deal.

Kate wants to know what that means. Vivian says she is being a good mother helping Philip reclaim his family fortune. Kate retorts so she can get a cut of it. Vivian says mothers don't do that. She just wants love and respect. Kate doesn't know what scheme she has roped Philip into but she is calling the police. 

Vivian takes the phone and says Kate is not calling the police. Kate pulls out her own phone. Vivian offers to cut her in. She can make it beneficial to them both. Titan can help finance her little soap opera. Doesn't Kate want her due?

Kate isn't interested in being roped into another of Vivian's schemes. He is Victor's son why would he need Vivian? Vivian says she provided Philip with the ammunition he needed to regain his legacy. Kate wants to know what that is. Vivian says a letter from Victor with his intention to give Philip his estate. Kate asks where Vivian would get such a letter unless she forged it. Vivian chortles that Kate is so clever.

Vivian tells Kate if she calls the police then Philip is implicated in the crime. Kate damns her. Vivian warns her not to ruin things for Philip. She extends her hand and invites Kate to come back to the dark side. Kate reluctantly takes her hand. 

Philip is back and Kate is gone. He warns Vivian to hide. Vivian says she knows that they are working together. Philip begs her to tell him that Kate has no idea that he knows the letter is a forgery. Vivian assures him that Kate has no idea while pawing his face.

At the pub, Kate has her phone out with Jada's number ready to press. She asks herself what Philip has got himself into now.

This whole storyline is the pits. And what am I watching? Vivian imploring Kate to "come back to the dark side" sounds like a line straight out of "The Lord of the Rings.

So Philip does know about the forgery. I was thinking he didn't but he's totally complicit.

Kate still seemed sparkless. Vivian was the one who had spark and the upper hand. It's not like Kate to give in so easily. Disappointing.
