Philip is shirtless in bed reading over the Victor letter. Vivian chastises him for ruminating over his late father who is costing him sleep. Philip says somewhat cryptically, yes he is. Vivian tells him that they have more important things to do.
Philip is putting on a robe while Vivian lectures him about fortifying their position to stopping Oaf Xander from giving away Titan. Philip is having second thoughts. Vivian asks if he is ok with the Scottish bastard controlling his birthright. If it was up to Philip Xander would be at the bottom of the lake with his prosthetic leg. His reluctance is not about his halfwit half brother, it's because of Sarah.
Vivian doesn't care about Maggie's daughter. Philip says the only reason Xander is giving up Titan is to help her, the woman is paralyzed. Vivian thinks Xander's brain is paralyzed. Who would give up Titan for a small liquid vial that may not even work.
Vivian says Sarah made her bed when she crawled into it with that miscreant, and besides, Titan belongs to Philip. He tells her that is not entirely true. Vivian pulls up the letter and says it's there in black and white.
Philip says it's not that simple. He says Vivian thinks he would have got Titan in the first place if Chloe hadn't led him on and he would never have faked his death. Absolutely says Vivian. How lucky for Philip that Vivian showed up just in time to stop him taking another bite from that poisonous apple. Exactly says Vivian.
Vivian tells Philip to get dressed and start the day. He'd like some privacy. She notes that she carried him for 9 months until he emerged naked and glorious from her womb. That is an image Philip would like her never to reference again.
Kate breaks into Philip's hotel room, irate that this is the second time he has come to town without telling her. Let's see how he likes it. She calls out guess who...and runs into Vivian

So the writers remembered that he has a prosthetic leg? Too bad the casting crew didn’t remember this guy isn’t Philip I haven’t even seen this yet and I doubt I’ll bother as I could do without seeing this clown shirtless No thanks

Replacing stupid fake Abby story with this with ridiculous storyline with seamless effortlessness. A Days specialty. Just when you get relived one plot ends another equally bad one takes its place.
At least Vivian is a serum skeptic too.

something doesn't quite feel right about Vivian and Philip. Philip couldn't stand to be in the same room with her much less hatch a plan with her. Now they are looking at taking back Victor's company somewhat together? Did Vivian get her own Dr. Rolf and brainwash Philip?

I agree mae00. Something doesn't feel right, almost as if she drugged Philip to get him to do her bidding. Or brainwashing as you said. That makes more sense. Sounds like Vivian managed to get Philip away from Chloe too because she doesn't approve of Chloe any more than she approves of Gabi.

Speaking of Chloe this would be a great time to bring her back but if they do please keep her and Brady in separate corners. With her restless little sis Joy in town now it makes sense for her to come back. I miss her piercing humor. And good looks.
