Highs - this Halloween episode was more campy than scary and didn't involve the Devil or Charlie coming back from the dead. Lows - We got an idiotic dream sequence that was a cross between an episode of Body & Soul and a parody of the real DAYS. I felt like I was getting stupider by the minute as I watched it.

Highs - I appreciated the homage to the Salem Stalker/Melaswen storylines, but as I said in the thread about the reveal, I feel it was done better a couple years ago.
Lows - In all, I generally don't mind, and even usually like the Halloween episodes. Yes, they're campy, they don't move the plot along, and they're often cheesy as heck, but at least they're usually fun. And they're usually, ya know, ACTUALLY DAYS OF OUR LIVES! This was not. It was BS (take that how you wish). I tune in to Days of Our Lives to watch Days of Our Lives, not BS starring the cast of Days of Our Lives. The episode came off as incredibly petty, I'd go so far as to say mean-spirited. It's as if Ron said, "Oh, well you don't like my BS storyline? How about a whole episode of it, then? And how about I make fun of you while I'm at it? HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT?! Aren't I hilarious? I'm so funny! I am the funniest man alive! LAUGH! LAUGH AT THE FUNNY JOKE THAT IS YOU AND THIS SHOW! WHY AREN'T YOU LAUGHING?!?!?!?!?!"

OMG I haven't watched this yet but judging from your reviews, I may just skip this episode for the first time ever.

Better to reflect on the show than actually watch it. Kind of a dud. I see the parodic aspects and the "necktie killer" reference was snarky as well as head writer Ron likely using Leo as a vaguely amusing vessel for himself winking at things knowing his end is near.
The whole stupid thing got sorted out in a climax that resembled a screw ball version of "Fantasy Island" and or "Gilligan's Island."
Highs - The ending where Kate introduced new cast member Joy and Johnny's awkward reaction; Leo
Lows - This scare episode was just too floppy and dull witted to enjoy

High - Leo's Halloween PJs. - When "Arrow" was accused of being the necktie killer and Alex yelled "WRONG STORYLINE!!!!!" it made me chuckle. - How in the world Kate said Weivnip with a straight face, I'll never know. I'll give her her due credit for that one.
Low - We watched Body & Soul - not DOOL. I did like the reference to the older storylines and really expected them to say they were on Melaswen.
